It's possible. But socialism is the most riot-friendly cause to gatecrash, if riots are all you're interested in.

I'm tempted to say it's also bad strategy, since it makes Trump's law and order policies look more sensible than ever, but Hillary is no stranger to bad military strategy, so we can't rule it out on that account.

Another thing that boggled my mind is why Trump chose to go to the UIC Pavilion. For those of you who don't know, UIC is overwhelmingly minority. One of the most "diverse" universities in the U.S. it pretty much gets an A+ for diversity if there is even such an award. Its like 30% Hispanic, 30% Black, 20% white and about 20% Asian. Whites are overwhelmingly outnumbered at that school, I'm not surprised that half of the people inside the Pavilion were SJW protesters. Even when I heard that Trump was coming to the Pavilion I said "Really? Why? This gonna be good".

I don't know what Trump's advisors were telling him, but he should have done his homework.

I have no doubt he did exactly that. Had he not held rallies in Chicago he would've been accused of being a coward. But now Trump is not just playing the MSM, he's playing the Democrats as well. A big protest like this immediately invites freedom of speech discussions and guaranteed Trump airtime.

But the icing on the cake, and something I've no doubt was allowed for in the calculations, was that the BLM clowns took the bait of getting violent with police officers and identifiable at the same time. The more I digest what I saw, the more I think this was done on purpose. They know Soros and BLM, they lured them right in. He can't be in all 5 battle ground states at once but he can get in the minds of millions of battleground voters one well laid trap.
