Would You Continue To Post Here If You Had To Use Your Real Name?
This is something that I've been thinking about lately. One of the cool things about the Internet is that you can post without using your real name. One of the bad things about he Internet is that you can post without using your real name.
I mention this because I left another forum that I didn't even belong to that long due to the hate hate hate I got for some non-PC views. I considered throwing my glove down and rejoining under my real name as a big FU to the moderators who don't list theirs. In effect: "I've shown you mine now if you are the champions of all that is good and true, show me yours!". But I thought about it and realized I could jeopardize my writing career, my business, and my family by doing such a thing. We all know the horror stories of people who have been targeted by the MSM collective and have lost jobs, houses, careers and more from making a snide remark on the Internet.
The nice thing about this forum is that Master Roosh and Tut keep the drama to a minimum. Oh it can resemble a locker room, but I've always found it to be a good-natured place to hang out and learn. As far as I can tell, we all use a handle here unless you are way out front such as Roosh and/or Matt Fourney.
So does using a pseudonym protect you from the wrath of the SJW's or is it we are too scared to show our collective faces? I really don't know. Yes, we should be the real men we claim to be and stand up to cathedral, but doing it alone...I don't think so.
Enough with my ranting. Let's see if you would continue on here or, like St. Peter, deny the Master three times.

"We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately."

I work with SJWs and my partners are leftists. If I posted under my real name and they read what I really believe it could be problematic. It's like any other type of game - you don't show all of your cards. That's not cowardice or unmanly, it's smart play.

Are you trolling?

If you're going to try, go all the way. There is no other feeling like that. You will be alone with the gods, and the nights will flame with fire. You will ride life straight to perfect laughter. It's the only good fight there is.

RE: Would You Continue To Post Here If You Had To Use Your Real Name?
"Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth." - Oscar Wilde

I don't have different opinions when I write under my own name. One thing that drove me here, in fact, was the backlash from feminists over some of my articles.

But under my real name I equivocate more. I soften the wording. Everything is "perhaps this" and "perhaps that."

The sad irony of that is that my posts here are a thousand times better then my real-world writing ever was because I write from the gut and don't think about the repercussions.

On top of all that, you have to have a certain mettle and desire to do battle to write RealTalk under your real name. I have issues with stress and anxiety and could not imagine having to swat away the SJW crowd like flies 24/7.

I have some people like this as Facebook friends (mostly holdovers from my college crowd). They're relentlessly self-righteous. They never let up and they have no shame in how they behave towards people.

Last year I quit Blue Pill writing and was hoping to be successful at stock trading. I figured then I could do real writing for some conservative sites like Taki's, Daily Caller, and ROK. But that ain't happening yet.

As long as the forum is open to the general public it's a career liability. Employers do Google your name.

I would welcome a "VIP only" section of the forums, private and locked, for established members (say, 10+ rep points) to come out of the closet and use real names, real pictures, etc.

Great idea. Except what if one of the VIPs got bothered or offended by something and decided to "out" everyone? Or "out" on specific person.

This has happened in the general manosphere -- someone gets a grudge and decides to attack someone else and expose them. I don't see any reason it wouldn't happen here too.

RE: Would You Continue To Post Here If You Had To Use Your Real Name?
Not at the moment. One of the criticisms that SJWs throw at people in the manosphere is that we are cowards and hide behind the anonymity of the internet. The fact is is that SJWs and radical leftist politics are mainstream and encouraged. Truth and more conservative thought and action is against the mainstream. Many of the left make their living as agitators or proliferators of leftist dogma while men in the manosphere tend to have another job even if they write on a regular basis. The fact that they have other jobs in the world requires them to use anonymity.

We have seen that men with non leftist dogmatic views will be hounded by leftist hoards into unemployment and financial ruin. However, I am of the belief that more men will need to reach a point of "losing it all" before they can be impelled to fight back and stand for truth in the public sphere.

The Maximally Pathetic Schema: Xs who labor to convince Ys that “I’m not one of those despicable Zs!,” when in fact it is obvious to the meanest intelligence that the Ys see no difference between Xs and Zs, don’t care anyway, and would love to throw both Xs and Zs into a gulag.

Six or so years ago there were about 1000 guys with my name on FB.

I'm not shy about my name, however I would not say the area I am from.

Narrows it down a skosh.

I work in China where it wouldn't hurt me if I posted on this forum under my real name.

On the other hand, I'm smart enough to recognize that my life my take a different direction at a different point, so it wouldn't be wise to connect my name to this forum.

I'm not ashamed of my beliefs and am pretty public about them these days, but I got into trouble at work in Canada a few years ago because they found a manosphere themed blog that I was writing at the time.

I look forward to the day that I can post under my real name without fear.

I actually advise you not to use your real name, because there may be a time where you are semi-outted (girlfriend, coworker, etc). Men in the past have panicked and messaged me in an hysterical state to take the time to scrub individual messages.

Without giving too much personal info, would you mind talking about that experience in Canada? Sounds like an interesting story.

This happened to me, thank you Roosh for saving my ass by the way. Do not post your real name on anything you do online, not in the comments, not on a forum, hell not even on Cat Fancy. People Google you when you meet them and so do potential employers, the world is a feminized PC shithole and one "problematic"or "inappropriate" tweet, opinion, or comment can get you fired or blacklisted for life. Remember the point of PC culture is not to change your mind but to shame, intimidate, and harass you-it is woman's way of conducting culture warfare, just ask Pax.

Only reveal your name when you have the means to successfully fight off a doxxing campaign. That means be the owner of a company (without a board to report to), have an independent income stream, etc.

Using a real name went south in the late 90's. I dont even put my name on anything related to my business. Company name and number.

I wrote the blog anonymously. One day I wrote about a relevant experience I had that I thought that it was important that people know about, since the media wasn't reporting on it.

I didn't realize that my experience had been recorded on camera. It became a Youtube video with close to a million views.

Someone at work saw the video and showed it to my boss, who did some Googling and found my blog.

The video made me look good by any standard, but the blog was very red-pill and the organization employing me at the time was pretty much the opposite of red-pill.

Instead of asking about it, he and his boss monitored the blog for more than a month until I wrote something they could really nail me for.

I saved my job by taking most of the blog down and being super honest about why I was writing it, but I ended up quitting not long after, finishing my last semester of university and moving permanently to China.

The move to China was mainly to put myself in a position where I could be my own boss and not deal with needless stupid for anyone of a number of reasons.

I'm the King of Beijing!

I probably would, but at this point i'm with the other guys. It's really not worth the hassle, somewhere out there in this huge world there will be a SJW who literally has nothing better to do than to ruin your life over a few red pill post. Look at the carry mattress rape porn cunt.

I would. I'm getting a little more fed up every day with anything in my life that restricts me from being fully engaged in what i belive in.

Unfortunately, I think it's prudent to be cautious for a little longer. If I can stabilize my passive income and really find what I really am passionate about, I don't think I'll cate who knows it.

Excellent poll. Sadly there are too many consequences to having non PC views that most of us would not be able to risk it.

Plus I believe it would stifle discussion of controversial issues knowing that the thread about it might be a high Google result for our own names.

That being said, much respect to people like roosh, mikecf and others that put it all or there like that.
