It made it to a biking FB site I'm part of, I said that at least the biker has used the sidewalk once, unlike her.
Someone said "I was fat shaming".
I replied with "Quit thought shaming me you white woman. Check yo privilege". Bitch didn't know what to say.
Bikes are usually supposed to use the road.
To my sidewalk comment, I meant the biker probably jogged or walked on a the sidewalk, considering he's an active dude, unlike the fat woman.
Many people do not understand that bikes go on roads. They think we're acting entitled by using the road and not the sidewalk.
I had a guy the other day trying to run me off the road. There's some crazy people out there.
Good thing there's a sale going on for this baby, $1199! But it can't fit inside my camelbak for personal protection for the crazies or when in the trails (woods, desert, etc). The five-sevens are out of stock

RE: SJW Reddit CrackDown Begins: "We’re banning behavior, not ideas."
The anti-free speech saga continues: Quote:Our hosting provider, hosteurope.de has terminated all our contracts and shut down all our servers without issuing a warning or trying to talk to us. This includes my private server which was only used to host my girlfriends blog. She is a scientist. She published her research papers on that blog (pre-formatted papers to which she owns the copyright). That server contained no other data whatsoever.
The reason they gave us when they notified us that they have cancelled our contract is "...we have received significant information that the content on your server includes political incorrect parts that are unacceptable for us." and "Due to the fact that we cannot keep bond of trust to you as our customer...".
Luckily, we have managed to move our databases to a cloud platform mere hours before they shut down our servers. Ladies and gentlemen, my eyes have been opened by this. I don't know about you, but we are living in a weird world. We will have to carefully evaluate our long term options of providing a platform of free speech if we are to stay online. Your donations are what keeps us afloat. Our paypal account has been un-suspended, so you can still donate to [email protected], or via bitcoin to wallet address 1C4Q1RvUb3bzk4aaLVgGccnSnaHYFdESzY.
Also, I am back in Sweden from my post-graduation vacation, currently packing my things and I will be driving (moving) to Switzerland tomorrow or day after tomorrow.
Edit: just to clarify, I have been a hosteurope.de customer for well over 5 years, always paying my bills and never hosting any illegal content.
Just in case their cloud provide goes nuts on them (the link would die), always good to see what's happening. Leftists are fighting against free speech and doing everything they can ("my feelings are hurt") to control what can be written and said.
Also, look at the power of bitcoin; when PayPal suspended their account (and we should expect this in the long run), bitcoin was there to pick up the slack. Where would we be without bitcoin?

Voat's provider, hosteurope.de shuts down servers due to "political incorrectness"
So, I'm not so good at making my own threads, especially clickbaity ones, but I figure this subject needs attention, seeing as it has to do with Reddit and censorship:

Edit 2: thank you all who donated. I removed info on how to donate as I feel we have received enough to help us survive for quite some time. We will publish a detailed report about how much money we have received through donations (all bitcoin transactions are already public) and what the money will be used for. I can already say that we have received around 8000 USD since our call for donation went up a few days ago. This money will most likely have to be taxed, but a detailed report will be published asap. I have received interview requests from several major news agencies but responding to these agencies will have to wait. A voat which runs smoothly and satisfied users is my #1 priority. It would feel wrong for me to be spending time appearing in the media while there are plenty other more pressing issues to deal with right here.
Apparently the provider is a German company. Is Germany as bad as Sweden when it comes to free speech, feminism etc?

RE: SJW Reddit CrackDown Begins: "We’re banning behavior, not ideas."
Yesterday Reddit hired one Philippe Beaudette to head up their 'Community Team'. He originally worked for the Wikimedia Foundation (which managed Wikipedia) where he was responsible for the team that did 'community management, user trust and safety, and strategic change management, guiding the community through a time of immense growth and maturation.'
In other words, he is part of the group that made Wikipedia the biased bastion of leftism that it is today. The chatter on Reddit in right/free speech leaning subreddits is that by quarantining /r/european they're attempting to curate Reddit into a form that will be more acceptable to donors and advertisers.
The censorship is done under a banner of suppressing hate speech, but its only directed at non-leftist subreddits. This whole fiasco reeks of similar surpression done by Twitters Orwellian 'Trust and Safety Council'. We can only hope this has a similar effect on Reddit's profitability.
From a comment on /r/theRedPill:
Quote:You see two things here. One, the business side of reddit is trying to find a away to monetize our speech. Being dyed in the wool San Francisco hipster SJW, they honestly think that proper words and group-think are more valuable than the mob of ideas. They are trying to curate reddit so they can sell its produce. It will never happen. Two, and this is particularly applicable to the founders, they think the investors gave them their money to do good, instead of build a good company. The assweasels at Facebook got away with this because they had viable business model. Reddit? When they run out of money, that's it; no one else will help them.
It will get much worse as they run out of runway. Ultimately, they will be forced to sell the user-base to a bigger company, who won't give a single fuck about content, speech or anything. They will do it just to get your eyes for 30 seconds and dispose of the whole pile of shit.
From /r/kotakuinaction (the gamergate subreddit):
Quote:I agree in my humble opion they see the guy as somebody who succesfully policed a community in a growth spurt and in such a "positive" way that they could virtue singal for money afterwards.
They think they can make reddit as appealing to donors as wikipedia.
This means the dude is expected and authorised to purge the undesirebles but only for reddit to find out that wikipedia is far more valueble in utility to the internet at large.
The vision they expressed with this hire is clearly in the ultimate conclusion a bad sign for the future.
Anti-PC subreddits like /r/The)Donald , /r/kotakuinaction and /r/TheRedPill believe its only a matter of time until the Reddit admins shut them down and most seem to be working on continuity plans.

RE: SJW Reddit CrackDown Begins: "We’re banning behavior, not ideas."
Reddit is continuing their path of suppression of dissenting non-PC opinion in order to try to monetise the site.
Two weeks ago Reddit hired an ex-Wikipedia community manager to head up their 'Community Support' team. The next day /r/European (an anti-immigrant sub similar in content to our Migrant Crisis thread) was quarantined. A quarantine means the subreddit no longer shows up on searches or lists and is hidden from new users, effectively destroying it.
Now /r/science is going anti-science by censoring any comments that transgenderism is not real or a mental illness.
The official stance is that you can discuss the issue and that only hate speech will get banned, but comments such as this have been censored by the mods:
Quote:I don't understand how anything can be off-topic in science. The assumption must be that we are absolutely correct at the moment, and no evidence can exist to prove otherwise. People have made that claim regarding countless issues throughout history and have been proven wrong over and over again.
Heliocentricity was an absolute no-no a few hundred years ago. It was considered outright blasphemy. Look what happened when we actually started talking about it.
We are fallible. Science is about trying to fix that.
/r/kotakuinaction has some good analysis of the issue here
You can expect Reddit to continue its decline. Its following the same pattern of wikipedia and twitter where they use heavy handed PC censorship to try to make their platform more attractive to investors/advertisers. Instead the censorship will be the deathknell for the site as users abandon the platform for non-censored alternatives.
