Question for wordpress experts
I have a website with several distinctive audiences. For simplicity's sake, let's say that my readers can be divided into corporate, charity and personal.

Their needs and interests are completely different, so I'm now looking to segment the content of my site to target each of these audiences. At a later point I will do some better marketing and add mailing lists targeting them.

Does anyone know how this is possible in Wordpress? I'm wondering if subdomains are necessary or if there is another way of doing it without potentially messing up the SEO. A search of the Wordpress forums didn't bring up much.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

PM me for accommodation options in Bangkok.

RE: Question for wordpress experts
You can use subdomains if you want make three distinct 'portals' for your site.

E.g.

But these would effectively be 3 separate WordPress installs, unified by your "parent" domain.

Otherwise you can just use 3 categories and split your posts among those categories.

Then each segment's blog would just be a link to that category page.

You can use a WordPress plugin that removes the /category/ slug to simplify the permalinks.
