You're asking too much if you expect a woman (or man) to be as loyal or dependable as a dog. If you haven't seen it already, watch "Happy People, A Year In the Taiga" on Netflix streaming. Awesome documentary about self-reliant fur trappers in the Russian wilderness. Those guys have a real bond with their dogs.

You know I'll use this as a platform to discuss cats and dogs...

I used to be a total dog person, I've owned dogs the majority of my life. When my last dog died I was without a pet for a while until I adopted a couple cats with my ex.

These cats surprised me, and I realized treating cats is much different than how you treat dogs. Dogs require very simple, reliable, and obvious game, cats require a bit more subtlety.

I'm not sure how it happened, but over the years I've gotten these cats to the point to where they follow me like a dog. I've had quite a few neighbors either drive by me or call out from their front porch: "Are those cats FOLLOWING you??" And I just kind of shrug and say yeah, they're cats that act like dogs.

There's something particularly gratifying about training an animal to act outside of its stereotypical nature. IKE maybe you can use that as a metaphor for women. With the right touch you can get them to behave outside of their natural disposition.

I have noticed that too. Treat dogs like your male friends and treat cats like women.

Who cares what people who read this forum think. Comparing women to pets is funny.

Also, rislander, game tip here, women LOVE playing like your animals. My favorite one is when I'm cuddling with a girl is im the lion and she's my lioness. They eat that shit up.

An ex I was with once was really into being dominated in really demeaning ways...this post is mild compared to what attitude toward women some women actually desire you to have.

I know your hearts in the right place, but its not hating women to joke about their role as the more submissive sex. Lighten up dawg.
