As I've gotten older rogue hairs have started appearing in my brows, along with a few grey ones. I go to a good stylist and she gets them looking good without a hint of gayness.

The OP is onto something. Trimmed eyebrows make a huge difference, especially as you get older and you get scruffy strands of longer hair growing.

However, he goes way too far. All you need is one of these. I'm sure a lot of you have one already



These nose hair trimmers include a eyebrow trimming attachment which evenly trim your brows in about ten seconds. Then a quick tweeze on the monobrow and you're done.

My eyebrows are a bit wild so I keep them trimmed, I just use my narelco bodygroom to get them under control, getting rid of the faint unibrow and cleaning up all the edges, then I use the foil trimmer attachment to take what I've cut down to skin level, looks much better and completely natural. Then every morning or night I just hit them with the foil trimmer again when I'm doing my beard line and neck, easiest shit ever and takes 30 seconds.

Has anyone utilized this? I don't know precisely what OP is telling me to do, and I don't want to fuck it up.

Also, wouldn't it be easier to pluck the hairs with a tweezer instead of shaving them? It's definitely more precise and probably lasts longer between maintenance than shaving.

Lol this is actually solid information but that original post read like a fucking blackhatworld squeeze page. Guys who don't trim their brows are probably missing out on a huge part of game. It opens up your eyes a lot and allows you to make better eye contact.

But what I'm wondering is why you recommend shaving underneath the brow with a razor? I've seriously never heard of anyone doing that. And I'm not saying it's wrong. But wouldn't tweezing just be...easier? And you wouldn't get five o' clock shadow on your eyebrows that way.

So yeah I just tweeze my brows and it works well. You basically *don't* want to shape your eyebrows as a guy. You just want to trim them, especially underneath.

Post would be a lot more useful with a before-and-after picture. I thought the diagram on the picture of the guy with the mustache was the 'before.'

That said, I might try the shaping-the-underbrow thing. I already trim a little and I think it helps.

My issue with eye brows has become that they are getting lighter as i get older. I wish they were as darkish as the hair on my head. I have blue eyes and with light eye brows these days, i think the impact of my eyes has lessened. I really don`t want to start tinting them, but is there anything else i could do!?!?!

Maybe this warrants its own thread, but I have a problem.

For the past 18 months I've noticed my eyebrows thinning out. It's gotten to the point where I've realized I'm losing them, since they're not growing back.

I used to have thick eyebrows, so it's most apparent to me. But I've lost maybe 50 % of my eyebrow hairs; mostly around the distal parts, but the middle part is also considerably thinned out. They fall out easily, just touching the area around the eyebrowsmay cause some to fall out.

The skin underneath the eyebrows are flaking, so I suspect a skin issue. Having looked it up most doctors prescribe a cream, often containing cortisone, which in the long run may aggravate the issue. So f*ck that.

I've been looking into what can be done. Not much, since eyebrow transplants are expensive as hell and no guaranteed results.

My question is, has anyone here had eyebrow tattoos done? Where I am they're covered by insurance, even when renewing... Since tattoos blur with time it doesn't feel like the optimal solution. But I'm getting desperate.

I'm okay with losing my hair at 24, but not my brows. Always had dem thick juicy swole 10/10 brows!

Have you actually talked to a doctor about this? I would probably see a doctor and have blood work done. It's possible that you may have some thyroid issues, especially if the outer portion of your eyebrows are thinning a lot. This can be caused by a whole host of problems, but is particularly common in hypothyroidism. The flaky skin could also be a potential sign that something is out of wack with your endocrine system.

Rather than looking for an immediate cosmetic solution, I'd try to figure out what is causing this. Give this link a read:

I ended up taking some natural supplements to give my thyroid a boost, and made lifestyle changes to help regulate stress more effectively. Eventually my brows grew back for the most part, so it's possible that those things helped.

I tweeze my eyebrows daily mainly because if I don't, I develop a unibrow and have the hairs growing down all the way to my eyes:

If you don't want to sit there all day tweezing every individual hair, do what I did and get your eyebrows "threaded." In NYC, these places are all over the place. It takes all of 5 minutes and costs about $6:



An alternative (if you have cash and want a really professional job), is to ask any girl you know with really nice eyebrows where she gets them done.

After threading, you just have to use a tweezer every day or so (depending on how fast your eyebrow hairs grow) to tweeze any stray hairs that grow in and maintain the shape. This is what I have been doing for the past year+ and it takes me 5-10 minutes when I wake up.

Up to you whether or not you think it's "gay," but I get complemented on my eyebrows regularly - maybe moreso where I'm living (Korea), where defined eyebrows seem to be desirable.

Time investment: 5-10 minutes/day
Money investment: $6 (maybe $10 if you don't have tweezers)

Not quite a 15 sec hack that will have women notice you as you ignore them but close enough.

I had some unibrow when younger. I use tweezers to remove the hair completely. These days It barely grows and it looks natural.

Using a razor, will make your skin grey like your beard. And a day you don't shave, it'll grow and look like those (mentioned) Latinas with bad eyebrows. It will reek GAY.

Maybe it's a good idea if you have THICK eyebrows but even then, just use tweezers to remove some excess.

I had light red hair as a youngster and my eyebrows are nearly invisible. Has anyone else ever faced the same issue? How have you dealt with it?

It's not something I spend a lot of time thinking about. I've never been vain, but as I start to add more and more game to my life, it's definitely something that would help "frame" my face as OP mentioned.

And yes, it really does sound like marketing.

I have a solitary hair that grows between my eyebrows. I pluck it out by the root, and that's as far as my eyebrow grooming goes.
Don't know why people are talking about razors. Tweezers are the way to go. Get the root and forget about it for a month.
