I don't know why I haven't posted this yet, but this is one of my favorite routines to blast through the first couple minutes of conversation, used as recently as last night. I'm not sure where I got this from, I think it's a modified version of one of that wizard guy's routines.

Keep in mind I rarely ask a girl's name first, so when she gives it to me, I go into this routine. So, here's the gist of how I used it last night:

I was sitting on a bench outside the bar, and a girl comes up and asks if I mind if she sits down, obviously I don't, even though she was fairly average, probably a 6. We start talking, and her even more average looking friend decides to join in, but no big deal.

At some point she says, "By the way, hello I'm Jenn." This is where the routine beings.

I reply with disgust and a variation of, "Oh no, I've never met a Jenn that wasn't trouble! I don't know if we can be friends."

Now I go into why we couldn't ever hang out because of her name. In this case Jenn is a very common name, so I also go into a "Well how do you spell it?" side routine, and cringe/shake my head when she does.

Her friend then chimes in, "What about Katy's" to which I reply "Katy's are even worse! Always meddling in my business." (A not so subtle hint)

The idea is she tries to qualify herself as better than other Jenn(s) you knew. Remember you didn't say if the other girl with the same name was an ex, a friend, a relative or whatever, let her imagination come up with all that. Half the time, I'm making it up when I use this routine, but in this case I have dated a Jenni.

They may say (like last night), "Well I've known a few CJ's that were trouble too." to which I instantly reply with something cocky, IIRC last night I said, "Don't worry that's because they weren't as cool as me."

As usual, this went on fairly well, until another friend of theirs showed up too. She was slightly more attractive, and I kept the routine going, only this time I said, "Oh Anna? Sweet, never met an uncool Anna." She then goes on to qualify herself to avoid being the first "uncool" Anna.

Tragically my buddy I was out with walked over and killed the vibe, shortly after Katy went back in, then Jenn, then after awhile Anna followed. Could've partially been because I shifted my attention too much, or because they had drinks waiting inside, I don't know and I don't follow chicks around. Either way I should probably just start going out alone.

Anyway, hopefully this routine works for some of you. It's great because you can use it on just one girl, or on a group like I did last night, and you can use it at any time in any setting.

Nice, I'll give it a try sometime. I guess its no big deal if you want to run the routine after asking her name if she doesn't introduce herself.

Great routine. I think I've said something similar before on-the-fly just from being cocky and bullshitting. Seems like this would work great for early game since it sets you up as a challenge and gets the girl to quality herself to you.

This is a solid, high-success approach. I've used a similar angle, picking whatever identifier or idiosyncrasy I can and labeling it problematic or a "bad sign." If a girl says she's an artist, I say that every artsy girl I every went out with stole from me. If I meet a girl with obviously dyed hair, I say girls with dyed hair--in my experience--are vain and focused only on their appearance. Etc.

I often top off my sweeping generalization with a "is that true?" Which, of course prompts a vehement denial, with anything from a play-ball, fun-girl attitude to a mildly offended posture. Either one gives me something to work with.

I like this one. Fun loving girls like it when a guy tells them they are "bad". I like to tell them..."you are nothing but trouble". For some reason this taps into their rebel energy and makes them think they are some kind of bad girl who can attract a bad boy or something. Certain girls take this as a compliment. The ones with a rebellious streak in them love to hear this. Especially, if you are the first guy who has told them this in a while.

Yeah this "routine" is pretty good, I think it's a variation of something that mystery does, basically you are "falsely disqualifying" them in a playful way, that not only gets them qualify themselves, but also plays into teasing, "push/pull", and can build sexual tension. I think what is key, is you're vibe, tonality, and body language, if it comes off as a forced or scripted lines, girls will intuitively pick up on it, like it's something you've said a 100 times before. Another thing you touched on is that this routine needs to only occupy the first minute or two of conversation, you're whole conversation can't be based on this, as this will deadpan and get lame quick, switch the topic shortly afterwards and maybe come back to it later... "maybe all Jenn's aren't completely crazy, although I do like that you have a little bit of a wild side"... Done right, this routine will help you tease, qualify her, DHV, possibly build sexual tension, push-pull, and get her jumping through your "hoops", as opposed to the other way around, which is most often the case.

Anyone else with any good routines, please post and share, I think I might eventually start a good opener thread and share a few that have worked out for me.

Yeah! That's the "wizard guy" I was thinking of! I should also add two things.

First, don't try this routine on a girl that is a legit bitch. Not that you should be wasting your time with girls that are intentionally difficult anyway.

Second, if the girl "agrees" that she's trouble, after awhile say that she definitely doesn't seem as wild as the other girls by the same name you knew. Especially if you can quickly ascertain that the girl IS actually a nice girl trying to prove she's got a wild side. And oh baby, if she's trying to prove how cool she is to you right away, you've got the green light!

There is this girl I know in Shanghai whose dad is some rich American CEO-type and mom is the daughter of a Chinese mainland family business that is tied to the triads.

I legitimately do not want to fuck around with her because she is ACTUALLY trouble. She overheard me say this to a buddy of mine and now she won't leave me alone. She shows up at clubs that I go to and will straight up ask me why I don't want to hang out with her.

Why can't game work for me when I want it to work for me?

Sorry Gio, I'm not exactly sure what you're asking? I don't have a specific routine of Mystery's that I based this off of, although I seem to recall him referring to a girl as "poison" once, and I have used that. This is kind of similar in the sense that you're using a false disqualifier.

Mystery has a false-disqualification routine where he tells the girl "you and I would never work out. Yeah, we're too similar. I wouldn't take your shit and you wouldn't take mine." That might be what you're referring to.

Good routine CJ. I've used a similar approach for a quite a while as well Tuthmosis, if depending on what city I'm in I say 'I've heard (insert city) girls are dangerous, is this true?' It especially works well if the place you're in has a certain stereo type or perception.

For example I used it to great success in Colombia asking girls if they were assassins, and in some cases I gave them a pat-down to check they had no weapons or drugs on them...classic.

You can spin this type of line to however you want it, I checked a girl's neck the other night to check she had no gangster tattoo's because she was from a part of town I deemed to be 'rough.' I accused her of having gun tattoo's like Rihanna.

I gotta say I'm a big fan of this. I like it because its not a memorized line, and its not something you have to draw from yourself so for younger guys like myself who havent done shit but wake up and wipe their ass, we can easily run this with good results.

The "you're trouble" line is one of my favorites because it always works. Seriously, like 99% success rate... that and "you talk too much" before going in for the first kiss.
