For example, collapsible batons are restricted to sworn LEO in Canada. Even certified security guards can't carry them. They can carry a one-piece baton, but it has to be visible.

You also can't conceal carry a knife with a blade length greater than three inches in Canada or anything the mechanical opener.

Switch blades are illegal in some states. It's even illegal to carry handcuff keys in some states. Not sure about collapsible batons.

My point being, be careful to not assume that weapons are legal for carry, just because they aren't a gun. Restrictions are often a lot more wide spread than that.

Take the girl out of the equation entirely. Are these really the kind of cocksuckers you want running around your neighborhood, robbing and threatening innocent people with lethal weapons?

If it happened in front of me where I live I would've shot the knife-wielding pricks. This is the sort of bullshit street crime lowlifes engage in when they know there's only a slim chance they'll be killed doing it. The behavior just escalates until they finally murder someone.

When the danger involved in a particular kind of crime goes up criminals will switch to some other type of crime that is less hazardous to their health and socially disruptive. Which do you prefer? The occasional burglary when no one's home or home invasions? Armed robbery or credit card fraud?

It should be considered a civic duty to eliminate these sacks of shit from the community, because if they're allowed to flourish the whole damn place falls apart.

I have a couple of friends who serve in the police in France. And I can assure you that they are FED UP.
Prisons are full and thugs arrested end up staying 24 hours at the police station before being released, awaiting trial.

Trials are also a farce with most sentences being nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

Many of the street thugs are recurring offenders who have served little time in prison.

All this, coupled with the prohibition of carrying arms, created a society where criminals roam fearless from the cops. They KNOW they will get away with it. It's almost like a jungle in some areas.

Cops are demotivated and citizens are more concerned about being called a racist than about being robbed, let alone help someone in need AGAINST non-whites. And you can thank schools, universities, medias and political parties for that social-liberal shit.

A jeweller was sent to jail for 7 years after preparing a trap for burglars , that he suspected would come to his shop. He killed with a weapon one of them; a youngster , 17 yo.

That would not solve anything. They have well trained SWAT teams in case they truly need them.

I guess they are not concerned with the disruption of the life of normal citizens.

The funny part is that they are teaching it in school to the new generation: "Don't fight back when someone attacks you, just report him to the teacher." There are students who fought back against bullies and got arrested by the police. The problem of course is that this does not work in real life. People who have nothing to lose don't give a rat's ass about laws against owning a gun.

In Switzerland they sent to a remote farmer to prison after having killing a burglar. I wonder what the super-rich do? Get exemptions for 24h security in the house?

Extendable batons and beaters are illegal where I'm from, not sure about where I live now. If you go upside someone's head with one expect it to be treated like any other use of potentially lethal force. I say fuck it, carry a tazer or carry a handgun. Learning to fight with your hands isn't a bad idea as well...
