I liked this one. When people talk about internalizing a belief, behavior etc. This is what they mean. It's one thing to know how to ride the reverse bike, it's another thing to do it. The takeaway is your brain is like the rest of your body, you can change it and sculpt it. We all have our limits. a midget is never gonna be the best 100 m sprinter. And some men will always be "beta" to some extent, but it is possible to dramatically change your personality, and to do it in such a way that you stop thinking about it.

This made me realize I should be pissed at my parents for not making me learn a language or how to play an instrument when I was a kid. Now that I want to learn it, it's about 17 times more difficult (8 months / 2 weeks).

If you dont want to learn it as a kid it would also be that difficult, because you really need to want to learn to be effective. Meaning the end result is a wash. You would also have risked not wanting to have learned it in the future(which would make it a waste of effort).

There used to be some street guys in Ireland who would set this up on the weekend in a main square.
They had two chalk lines and you could bet 5 Euro to try ride the bike from one side to the other.
If you won you got 20 Euro back, if you failed they kept the 5 Euro. In between goes they would ride the bike themselves making it look really simple. Pretty smart way to earn some easy money. I paid and lost.

I don't know if they still do it, but there was a booth at the County Fair with one of these bikes. You could bay $5 to try and make it 20 feet. If you could do it, you would win a giant bunny. Nobody ever won a giant bunny.

But even with all your observations, you have to think on a bigger scale. Move this idea on the level of civilization, on the effect of feminism on men...Its now surprise that men cannot live in this day and age. They are given the wrong bicycle.
