I've felt for a while that we in the manosphere need to fund our own think-tank and hire academics to staff.

However, to do it right, it would have to offer the equivalent of guaranteed lifetime employment, just so that our researchers aren't afraid to publish under their real names.

I haven't suggested it previously, because I'm just starting my career and am not in the position to do my fair share in funding it, but I think that if we are serious about doing mankind a favour, this would be something to seriously consider.

Love that comment. That's exactly it. The same goes for the media heads, politicians and business leaders. They would never utter publicly what they truly think about things.

Glad to see some people in academia not being completely brainwashed - but they still have to tow the party-line and be silent about the truth just like in the former communist countries.

The Middle East is a perfect example: homosexuality is on par with our prison populations (suggesting that the hole place is basically a prison), men are driven to suicide bomb because of how miserable their own lives are, the upper-class is taking multiple wives, denying the same to your average fellow, and you think that the hatred of women doesn't stem from childhood abuse at the hands of their mothers?

Feminists treat these things as women's issues, when they're people issues.

Beyond professional contacts, everyone who knows me personally knows i'm a hard right traditionalist and they not only like it they respect it too. It's replies like that that tell me we still have a long way to go before people start calling out this BS.

Tenure allows you to say what you are Allowed to say. If you start saying things that you are not Allowed to say, then tenure merely ensures a large severance when they get rid of you (as opposed to non-renewal of your contract). Especially if you start saying things that threaten your university's $$$.

This sounds very similar to something else I've read within the Manospshere. Maybe on the old In Mala Fide or maybe on the Spearhead. Feminists focus on the top 1%, who are mostly males in every society because men tend to be the most ambitious and productive. They never look at the bottom 50% who are also overwhelmingly male. The further down you go in the social hierarchy the more males you find as a proportion of the total. Look at the homeless, the suicides, the workplace fatalities. Overwhelmingly male. It has always been this way.

Idealist and unrealistic. We've always been mostly ruled by fairly evil men because they are the most ruthless. plato's statement implies it can change or was different in the past, which it can't and it wasn't.

The new alpha Lion murders the former alpha's Cubs to bring the females into heat for him. Nature doesn't negotiate.

I personally can treat others kindly if I choose. That's different than politics.
