Asking her "Why are you still single?"

Asking her "Why are you still single?"
This is often a line that women ask men as a test.

Does anyone have experience asking this to girls instead? In my mind, it sort of serves as a way to qualify her. But would they get offended (especially if the girl is in her 30s or 40s)?

Generally speaking they will get very offended unless they are one of approximately 5% of women who are truly independent and happy to be so.

I never ask this to girls because if they are over 30 years old, there's something wrong with them...or career oriented where a man has no place in her life.
