I gamed a Tibetan student here in Germany and have some weekend plans lined up. I'm a grizzled veteran with European girls but know next to nothing about Tibetans, could definitely use some tips!

For some back story, I walked into a subway car today that smelled like absolute shit and death, with people holding their shirts up against their noses and opening windows to air the place out. The Tibetan girl was sitting next to me, so I leaned over, very awkwardly smelled her, and said "... it's you, isn't it?" She giggled for a while and we started talking in broken English and German.

New guys, you can get away with fucking anything if you're wearing a suit. I leaned over and smelled this girl in front of 10 people. Try it, the cheesiest and simplest openers work like a charm if you're dressed up.

Anyway, will this be a steep learning curve with a rocky language barrier? I'm trying not to take the opportunity for granite, actual Tibetans are a rarity here. (sorry, there are so many mountain puns) Any other cultural norms or or significant differences compared to other Asians?

Ask her to teach you to make thupkas and momos. I'm sure she'll be happy to do that, and you have an easy way to have her come over.

Tibetan food is the bomb.
