This isn't that shocking when you consider what is being taught in universities today.

This is the real crux of the matter. As a child her parents didn't tell her no. There was no strong male figure around and her two helicopter moms probably protected her from the entire world. Unable to face any adversity, she went to college as a child and so when adult life hit her, she isn't able to act like an adult who knows how to say yes and no.

On top of all that she is female and feminist. . .

I think it's because young women are taught that they are all perfect and beautiful, and thus are not at all equipped to handle any sort of adversity.

She probably got pumped and dumped. Feelings hurt = rape. I honestly think it's as simple as that.

These women are a disgrace, for trivializing a terrible crime and their willingness to trash a man's reputation because of their poor, hurt feelings.

I have an idea, maybe she should text the guy to fuck her in the butt, get fucked by all his friends, then when he wants nothing to do with her carry a mattress around campus under a school project called "carry that weight" demanding that the guy be expelled.

Nah, that's just too absurd to be taken seriously.

This is insane. The comments seem to have more negativity toward her than positivity. This is the best one that I thought was worth sharing for those who hadn't seen it.

One would hope that it is a rather quick one. "No" is, after all, one of the shorter words in the English language. Perhaps you need some practice. Stand in front of a mirror for an hour or so and just keep saying no to your reflection. Then, when someone asks you to do something that you don't want to do, just revert to your training and say "No." It's OK. Some people might not react too well - and once you've got simple negation under your belt you can graduate to the more complex "No, thank you" - but that's entirely on them. YOU are not responsible for anyone else's actions or feelings.

So a college student tries to put a spin on a controversial topic by attempting to rationalize something that is complete nonsense... and now all the feminists have jumped on the bandwagon because they believe it's now plausible?

Flavor of the week. Depending on their mood, tomorrow they'll be back to telling us yes means maybe, maybe not.



The rationalization definition from Wiki puts it well:

What we need to do is keep exposing these types of irrational "opinion pieces" for what they really are, nonsense. Nothing to see here, moving on here...

In the same way some kids aren't allowed in school without taking Ritalin, boys won't be allowed in without this drug, because of the threat of "sexual violence." This will include college, and eventually it will make its way into the workplace.
