It could be coordinated but more likely it's because they lack creativity. If one person has the idea to "reclaim" the hashtag the others will automatically ride in the wake.

Its just another example of SJW blogs not using web analytics correctly. They can try as hard as possible to milk this till the end but the numbers just aren't there. There are no new "recruits". Its really pathetic to see articles about "taking it back" when a simple twitter search reveals the opposite.
