Sorry for resurrecting the old thread, but I feel like this is the thread 262 is mostly known for and that is the thread I associate him with.
I remember reading it with interest and I got a lot of value from it back in the day.

I met 262 in Poland last summer and he seemed like a chill, down to earth guy. I'm very surprised he got banned too.

Thought that private circles were for acting how you choose. If someone isn't welcome in a private circle, you no longer include them in it. However the forum is public and I see no record of him violating the rules.

By private circles, people might be referring to Google Hangouts or a similar chat application where he butted heads with a few members. Those things are bad news. Too much drama.

This is all speculation so take that for what you will.

I agree, 262 seem like a solid person, He gave a lot of value to a lot of guys. I'm not sure what happen.

Shocking news. I spoke to 262 for an online podcast and he sounded like a solid and sincere guy.

Ban drama aside, I found it odd that this guy made an entire thread and many posts about relocating to Poland, and after, what, a week or two, decides that it's not for him? Was he expecting the girls to land on his lap without any work or adjustment? He could well have succeeded in Poland if he had just stuck with it. Preparing for relocation so thoroughly, you would expect at least one (preferably more) extended trip had been undertaken of at least 1 month each, in the city of his choosing. Otherwise, how are you supposed to know it's the right thing to relocate?

If I have a list of places to relocate to, I first go to those places and game there hard, before I leave everything behind. Otherwise there is the danger of doing tons of preparation, only to leave after a few days.

Of course there are some places which are obvious shitholes and it's easy to come to a decision very quickly, but Poland and many other countries are not as simple as that.

Aside from that, people that relocate anywhere no matter how much they love it will notice some minor things they miss from home. There might even be some pet peeves about living in a new city let alone country that could be uncomfortable. Doesn't necessarily mean they dislike living there however....

I thank him for posting a lot of stuff about how American guys live in Europe with a Poland loophole. My friends are taking his advice and they don't need to worry about visa and so on. It was a huge help when he posted border runs and updated his experience.

Thought it was odd he was banned as well. The forum is meant to share information and learn from each other. He made valid contributions. I was going to pm him about Poland.

Clearly, there are members who enjoyed his contributions.

Could one be warned before being banned or a list why one would be banned? We're all adult men.

I think on rare occasions, permanently banned members are allowed to come back. BrewDog came back and for some reason, Skip's Steps is apparently still in good standing.
