This is not a political thread. Just a nice example of how women in power cannot be trusted: Marine Le Pen's career was paved by her father, who never got elected to president. Now that she get's close to become France's next president, she decided to dump her 86 y-old father, commiting political patricide.

The party was an irrelevant possibly-Nazi plaything until Marine got ahold of it. Jean Marie had his chance for several decades and squandered it. The party is better off than it has been in decades. Whether a suspension was needed, I have no idea, but keeping her father from power on some level was expedient.

Just seems like you're anxious to rail against some woman, any woman.

Political process is a farce anyway. In private all parties serve the same money power owners, they dine and wine in the same restaurants, fuck the same escorts and go to the same "libertine" orgies. Then they go in front of the cameras and oppose each other publicly.

I like the OP's suggestion that Hillary would ditch Bill upon a rise to power. That would be a very sound 'last ditch' bump or distraction during her election campaign.

Hillary divorces bill would rile up the harpies in support and dominate headlines overwriting any new benghazi or private email server scandal that were to erupt.

I read the rest of the article. It sounds like there's bad blood because of a couple of other slights her father made against her and him shooting off at the mouth about the holocaust, which isn't even remotely relevant in modern politics, was the final straw.

The obsession with the holocaust in some far-right circles is idiotic.

First, Jean-Marie LePen wasn't exactly an asset to the FN. His extreme right-wing politics made even fairly conservative voters cringe, thereby having them vote for the more center-right parties.

Second, Hillary isn't going to divorce Bill. Bill has all the connections. He knows every single wealthy Democratic donor, and probably drinks/plays golf with half of them. He's also the only goodwill she really has- nobody really likes Hillary, but even Republicans grudgingly like Bill. Divorcing him gets rid of all her connections and goodwill.

She won't. They already live separate lives and the marriage is effectively over. But, despite all of the feminist BS here, the Middle Eastern bribes...excuse me, charitable donations...would dry up without Bill and Hillary knows it. She's content with letting him do whatever he wants and maintaining the semblance of marriage as long as the money keeps flowing.
