Full Time Mummy - just fucking get on with it!
As a child-less man who became who became an uncle 3 years ago, I can completely relate to this. I'm so sick of hearing about my nephew & niece's latest trip to the museum, or how funny (but more importantly, embarrassing for MUMMY) their their stupid tantrums are. I would love to block (or sometimes un-friend) their mother, but I know I'd be caught out at some point. Every other day it's a post about how hard not having to work for a living is, & how insensitive the rest of the world is to her & her fucking spawn.
And there's no way to let her know that its a fucking crock without committing familial & to a degree, social suicide.
And if it's not about her kids, its about animal welfare or some other cause that if she really cared about she would see that it's something like over-population or economics etc. I love how they feel justified in their own being a parent but have complete disregard for the impact that that makes on the planet & others they share it with, until it affects them & their own fucking kids.
Fuck the full-time mum who thinks the world gives a shit.
Is The "Full Time Mummy" The Loudest Person on Facebook?
Quote:Three months ago an acquaintance of mine had a child. I know this because the employment section of her Facebook changed from ‘miscellaneous job in retail’ to ‘Full Time Mummy’. The update of her place of work served as the announcement of her newborn child’s first breath – think about that for a moment. It’s either a heartwarming moment in a family’s life, or a harrowing reminder of how intertwined our lives have become with social media.
With the new-found knowledge that little Jimmy was fresh out of the oven, I ‘liked’ the updated job status and commenced my involvement in some random kid’s life. Over the coming months, I saw photos of him smiling and crying. I also got to know the mother a little better. I quickly realised she had become remarkably more vocal since squeezing an overripe fetus out from between her pelvis. Each day she was liking ‘mummy support groups’ (hoards of women who are equally sensitive about anything that might encroach on their rights as mothers) and updating her status asking for ‘quick pieces of advice’.
Asking Facebook users about best practice for raising a child isn’t a good idea, but I sympathised with Full Time Mummy. She’d gone from the ‘can-I-help-you-with-anything-or-are-you-just-browsing’ prestige of retail, to the arm-deep-in-vomit pit of raising a child (on Facebook). I wanted to reach out and help, but I didn’t know how, and Kevin from Jimboomba and Tally from Dysart were doing a pretty good job coaching her on keeping little Jimmy breathing.
Though eventually my relationship with Full Time Mummy grew distant. More and more often I would see her writing in capital letters on pages who didn’t offer booster seats, or digitally shouting expletive-laden rants about ‘insensitive dickheads’ who aren’t affectionate to little Jimmy screaming like a wounded banshee. Full Time Mummy was sour, and all the peer-sourced baby info in the world couldn’t heal her wounds.
One particular morning, Full Time Mummy wrote a 1000 word rant on the wall of a company who specialised in baby products. It was a novel, and it was also a turning point. Full Time Mummy is not good – Full Time Mummy is bad. Little Jimmy is being raised by a woman who spends half her life caring for him, and the other half acting as some kind of DIY martyr, filling time by writing angry messages on the Facebook walls of cafe’s who get ‘outed’ by Today Tonight for being unsympathetic to crying children.
So I’ve broken off my relationship with Full Time Mummy. She’s using a biological status to feed her superiority complex, and if she hadn’t used little Jimmy as leverage in her new place of employment, she’d probably have less of a vendetta against everyone who isn’t her.

Damn, that is some hostile passive aggression and condescension by that writer. You can tell that the entire piece reeks of her hamstering why she doesn't have the same ability to attention whore on facebook after fulfilling her only real role in this life of hers.

[TK: Nice dig at her employment opportunities, fuck the white trash biatch amirite?]

[TK: Says the Child Free By Choice, hehehe, Carousel Rider Typist who wrote all of this to attention whore about how much better she is than a full-time mother]
My comments bolded and bracketed. Being a full time mother of an infant really isn't a full time job. They either cry, shit, or sleep most of the time which means that after the mother has gotten over the injuries and fatigue from giving birth she probably does have time to browse facebook and engage in mommy issues and groups. Especially if she has some beta male husband that does 60% of the housework while supporting them all.
Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.
Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

For this reason, the market for kids crap is an absolute goldmine. Tap into the state of mind of a 'full time mummy' and you can sell them whatever kid related stuff you want. It's exploiting biological instinct. Total win. If I was gonna be in sales, I'd be in that market.
But yeah, I glass over when I come across dating profiles that look fiiine as, and then you read, 'Profession: Full time mummy'.
They who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety- Benjamin Franklin, as if you didn't know...

That's what I noticed too.

Women with University Degrees are whining about Pretty Girls in Commercials and Fictional Superhero Characters not being Right On enough. Career Women are chewing out the Barista for using regular fat soy instead of low fat soy, or harassing their underlings for not working fast enough to make her look good by taking all the credit for their effort.
Welcome to Women. They're always lashing out in narcissistic fury.

What children are is an unwanted distraction from their true love: their mobile phone as portal to social media attention. Imagine trying to thread a needle with a mosquito buzzing in your ear: this is what children are to these women. I see them everywhere, their children are trying to engage them whilst they're exploring the world, and the mother barely ever looks up from her phone, even during three blocks of walking.
I expect these children to grow up very independent, with commitment issues, much like the children of alcoholics, who are always very aware they're not as important as the bottle to their parents. In this case it's a mobile phone, but the addiction works the same way.

Bide your time, my man. I hear you loud & clear. This too is my, our only, strategy.

I ain't buying what society is selling, its a bum deal and a recipe for unhappiness as it stands until women return to what they were like in the first half of last century.
Which will not happen, we can never go back. But we can advance. They can be cornered yet again, as long as we come with the knowledge, strength, unending patience & resolve. As soon as the 51% realise that are not smarter than the 49%, we will have our day in the sun yet again. I just hope I see it in my lifetime.
