I'm curious about Chicago. I've been to pretty much every other large U.S. city but never Chi-town so it's kind of a mystery to me. I love NYC and I've heard if you like one you won't like the other, but it seems like it may have some of the positives of NYC ("big city" feel, diversity, entertainment) and lack some of the negatives (crowded as fuck on a little island, high prices). Also seems that a lot of Russian girls immigrate there (I know probably only a fraction vs. NYC but still a popular spot for them I've heard).

Atlanta isn't great IMO, but I'd say overall I like it. It's just so damn spread out...I'd like to be able to hit up hipster bars, big clubs, whatver without getting in the car for 15 minutes between each spot. I'm not into black or Asian chicks so that is also obviously limiting my evaluation.

This is spot-on. Where Chicago may surprise some out towners though is an abundance of hot Eastern-Europeans (esp. Polish) and a very large population of Latinas (primarily Mexican, but Chicago by far has the most Puerto Ricans for a Midwest city as well). What really sucks in Chicago is the segregation though. It can really be a bitch. As a result, some of the north side bars will have a frattier Big 10 feel (ie. Lincoln Park/Lakeview/Wrigleyville). The crowds seem more mixed in the clubbier areas by downtown (ie. River North, Gold Coast, Streeterville, etc.). Definitely check out Bucktown & Wicker Park too though. Definitely some fly Latinas and more flavor out that way. Some of the more bar & lounge type spots near downtown will be primarily yuppie white / Asian / Indian, and not too much flava really. Kind of their own version of frattiness.

Chicago is probably the number 1 city on my list right now after I leave California in a year or two. Heard too many great things about it and will plan a trip sometime next year.

North Carolina cities also seem interesting.

I've heard Savannah and Charlotte are good cities but I'm wondering which has the best logistics.

Also lol at the idea of Chicago being expensive after growing up in LA....

Day Game

Non-existant. The only place you'll be able to game is on campus at UNM. You might find 1-2 good looking girls in either Old Town or Nob Hill during the day, I doubt it though.

Here's what you'll normally be looking at during the day.


Night Life

Terrible. Ends at 2, and most places stop serving drinks at 1:30, a lot of them are starting to do last call at 1:15. This might be ok if things got poppin around 8-9, but that isn't the case. Best case scenario is that the place might start picking up around 10:30-11.

Ratios are horrible. Expect 2-1 + men everywhere you go. I've seen it get laughably bad sometimes. I was at a bar a few weeks ago and counted 40+ men and less than 10 women. Of those 10 women, only 2 were bangable.

Venues

Monte Vista


Expect to spend your Tuesday nights either here or Fox and Hound. Both being about 20 mins apart from each other.

This is about as upscale that you'll get if you're trying to find a girl that's under 40 and bangable.

Expect to spend Thursdays at this shithole Country bar that can't quite figure out if it's country or redneck hip-hop.

People are fucking retards here. I talked to a girl the other day that thought Arizona used a different compass than New Mexico. Her reasoning was that there are the East Mountains that are in between the states and that you drive west to the mountains from one state and east to the mountains from the other state. It's very hard to find somewhat intelligent people here, and by that, I mean people with an IQ over 85.


All in all, Albuquerque sucks, and I would only recommend my enemies to move here. I'll be moving out of here 1/1/18 come hell or high water.

captain_shane's datasheet indicates why this forum has moved away from game and into other areas quite well. For the vast majority of guys in the US it's just not worth it anymore. The product is so spoiled at this point you're literally dumpster diving almost everywhere you go. Even five years ago it wasn't this bad. The accelerating degradation of American and even foreign women due to Western culture is shocking to put it mildly.

I'm not advocating guys not improve their game and living situation, but game and travel posts can't solve the worsening dating market. It's just polishing a turd at this point. The forum has moved into politics and attacking feminism because the root of the problem has to be solved, or we're all horribly fucked in the very near future.

That's my issue with Chicago.

I'm into mainly Latinas and black girls and the vast majority of them live in extremely impoverished crime-ridden sections (mainly in the southside, but really all throughout Chicago) where murders and muggings run rampant.

If I ever move back, I'm going to head back to Evanston. Really nice, safe Suburban town just 12 miles north of downtown Chicago. The L train is one of two subways/elevated trains in America that runs through the city 24/7 (the other being the NYC subway).

When I was there in college, I was able to occasionally get day 2s when the girl from Chicago would take the L to Evanston for the date.

2 medium-sized, affordable cities in the midwest I've heard good things about (when it comes to women, quality of life, and their local economies) are Minneapolis and Columbus.

Anyone have any intel on KC? Looks like a nice city and is insanely affordable. Some fella ITT said it was bad for single cats. Anyone else know?

630k population despite being a MASSIVE 606 square miles (3rd largest in the country!!! Larger than LA and Houston!!!) Under 1k people per square mile.

I think saying "the US is just not worth it anymore" and "you're literally dumpster diving almost everywhere you go" is a huge cop out. Parts of the US are absolutely shittier than others for game, but even in the worst places there's always hope. People need to remember that 90% of guys have no game, its very easy to be in the top 5-10% with a bit of effort. Which means you can do at least OK anywhere.

Even if you're currently in the worst dating market in the US (San Francisco), its very very easy for a young single male to move across the country. Move to Miami, move to NYC, move to Chicago or countless other cities if you don't like it where you are. If a man can't get with good looking women in any of those three (or countless other major American cities where there are literally millions of young women available) then the problem is them, not the women.

The "bang for you buck" in Chicago is truly off the charts.

You can land a studio apartment in a great part of the city for $800-900/month and what's even more savory is the fact you don't have a car payment to deal with. I drive a freaking Hyundai and among the car payment, gas, and insurance, I'm looking at a ridiculous $6,000/year.

With no car in a place like Chicago, you'd end up spending only $1,200/year or so on transportation (the monthly CTA pass).

Every other city on that list is sprawling and you likely need a car.

Minneapolis, despite being dong-numbingly cold, also intrigues me since it has strong logistics, which makes a car unnecessary.

But, the people who say the US isn't worth it are correct. I haven't been to Chicago in forever (so maybe there is one decent city) New York is too expensive, Miami is full of narcissistic douche scammers and all of those places have bad weather. And those may be the only few cities in the entire country to even consider.

Why settle for 7s when there are plentiful 8s and 9s in other countries who are more cultured with better attitudes that take less effort. And not only that, the cost of living is much lower in these places.

I don't think anyone is saying its not worth moving to upgrade the women you get - thats certainly not the point I was making at all. People can definitely do better in other more game friendly environments, though usually to the tune of 2-3pts better than at home at max. But even given that moving abroad is still definitely something men should consider at some point in their life.

But my point, and the bigger problem, is I think with people who either a) just give up in their home country (ie the US for the above guy I quoted) entirely, or b) just fail completely in their home country. But they think if they move to Budapest, or Bangkok, they'll suddenly be banging 9s. The problem is if someone can't even bang 5s in their home country then they're not going to be getting top tier pussy anywhere in the world - some level of lifestyle/looks/game are required everywhere.

In a lot of cases men just seem to use the line "its impossible to game here" as an excuse for their failures, and to justify not engaging in some self improvement to raise their game. They'd be better off working on their lifestyle/looks/game at home to the point they're at least regularly banging something. Then move abroad to upgrade once they have at least some basic competency.

^ This is one of those boogie man posts that keeps coming up.

The same guys having the balls to move abroad or seriously date someone abroad with all the hurdles that go with it probably isn't the same guy that is too afraid to try in the U.S.. In fact it is probably guys that have exhaustedly tried in the U.S. most likely had success at cost they deemed too high & easily figured out the game rewards better elsewhere.
