Eyeglasses Style
Tried searching for a thread here, but haven't found anything on this.

So I was wondering, what are you guy's opinions on eyeglasses styles for men. I have a fear or paranoia about contact lenses, seeing all those pictures of infections and hearing stories spooked me out. So eyeglasses would be the next best option. My vision isn't that bad, but around a dimly lit area, i.e. a bar or lounge, it can get a bit hard to see and make out if that one girl is a 5 or 8, so being able to see in the dark can definitely help.

As far as face structure, my face would most likely be oval according to the attached pic

So what styles would you guys consider masculine and stylish for men?

I think mine is more oval too... here's the glasses that I wear

I bought my pair nearly 2 and a half years ago. Should probably get my eyes retested but I like the style and have little desire to change them. They are fairly thick rimmed but not in a hipster way. For reference I have a very similar face shape to Tom Cruise. So perhaps more round than oval.

You may need an anti-glare coating to help with low lighting. It transmits more light into the eye rather than bouncing off the lens and will cut down star bursting you may get in bars.

For style look at oval and rectangular frames that hare not complete squares. I like a little bit of a roundness, I have an oval head myself. In general shape is the opposite of what the head is. Taller frames work better for longer faces while the opposite holds true for shorter heads.
