I think the best way to support them would just to buy from them. Unlike other companies which SJWs might 'boycott' if the company puts up an advert that 'triggers' them, it's not like any if that crowd is buying protein supplemements anyway.

Well, I was right. Someone on twitter has just shown an email that Protein World sent to them when they asked about the effects of the campaign.

In 4 days, they've made sales of more than £1 million, with 20,000 new customers, and had total social media viewing of their sites more than 113 MILLION times

Have to say, they've responded to the outrage brilliantly. They've stood pat and gone on like nothing happened, no apology, no 'this wasn't meant to offend anyone,' nothing. The Marketing Director responsible for this campaign was on Sky before, and was point blank asked if he regretted some of those 'triggering' tweets their official account made, and he responded: 'Absolutely not.'

This screams like a copycat of Ryan Holiday.

As an 18 month unheard of company, the heads probably went into personal debt to finance the 250k in putting the banners up.

They had the banners photoshopped with the hate, and either created bought twitter accounts or paid people to tweet the banners out. Then once a bit of a steam was built, they let the feminist nutjobs take it from there.

So this isn't really a stand against feminists but rather just a brilliant business maneuver. And for that alone, I've bought a tub to try them out.

The originals weren't even offensive, or fat-shamed or anything. It was a picture of a hot body asking if you're ready to show off your body? Pretty inoffensive. Just goes to show that even the most innocuous thing will be construed as offensive by somebody somewhere...can't please them all.

But there are so many people out there who just want to be victims even when there is no victimization occurring. They set themselves up to be victims and then create fake situations of victimization where there is none. Most of it is based on weight, gender and race. No doubt there is some actual victimization occurs but when there is none in the first place yet "victims" create it...it's just absurd and undermines the whole social movement.

We should work more as a collective and fight against fat acceptance/feminism. I'm pretty sure if a (man shaming) company receives about 50 complaints from guys in clear, logical wording saying that they won't buy their product anymore if the company keeps continuing their manshaming through commercials, they would at least consider changing their marketing a bit. The feminist manshaming in commercials is nauseating and should be stopped.

In the case of proteinworld it's the opposite and customers are voting with their money and thus buying products from them.

That video was a less extreme version of Roosh's appearance on Dr. Oz.

That marketer came off as a normal guy and the SkyNew's hosts came off as fake.

At least to me. The women's defense of the "outraged" seemed half-hearted. And the fact that the spokesperson REMAINED CALM completely wrecked their whole "show trial" or two minutes of hate session.


What I think is occurring is the emergence of men who grew up in the new era. In the era where we actually have to have game to get laid. Where believing in fairy tales won't get you a wife and a nice life. This is the fundamental difference between guys like the marketer, Roosh, and other young men, and the baby boomers like Dr. OZ.

Raised in completely different environments. The boomers had thin women and better ratios, so, they could afford to be blue pill, and red pill guys were looked down on because the truth is considered "rude" to them.

Men nowadays, (the men who are successful, whether it be in business, girls, or whatever) have to be more ruthless, and in general, understand reality better.

It's why the Mongols completely kicked ass. Tough environment bred tough warriors.

Today's environment, while not the same as fighting in World War 2, or something like that, still, if you can come through it successful, you are not going to bow down as easily to feminist crap as the boomers natural inclination is.

Also reading, and also market online. I would bet on this being an orchestrated marketing campaign. Proteinworld knows it's market. Feminists dont spend a time of their money on this (at least non-hemp non-organic) and the company has therefor nothing to lose and everything to gain. This is free publicity, pandering to their market (fitness fans), and a job well done.
