Not sure if this is already a common opener but works well for me.

Works best in a country where girls smoke a lot - Europe has a lot.

Make sure you have smokes, even if you don't smoke just buy a pack anyway.

Walk around the city and go about your day.

Wait until you see a girl standing around smoking. This is common on shopping streets and big parks.

Pull out your pack of smokes and go ask her if you can borrow a light.

Game.



Works well because you already have a natural opener and a false time constraint - she knows its just one cigarette and then she's gone. Girls are also less bitchy during the day. You can tell your game is good if she pulls out another cigarette so she can keep talking to you. I have pretty bad AA especially during the day, so if you're the same this can be an easy way to break through it.

Obvious shit test. If she's teasing then just tease back, but if it's full on bitch mode just walk away. Don't waste your time on dumb bitches like that - she's obviously just damaged and why would you want to talk to someone like that anyway. Even if a fugly came up to me and asked for a light, I'd smile and give it to her. It's called basic manners, which every normal human being should have.

In saying that, I've never had a bitchy response like that - it's always been neutral or positive. Although I never tried this back in the US.

Agreed.

When I used to smoke (why'd I quit again?) I would open by asking for a cigarette or a light despite always having my own smokes and a Zippo on me. Wasn't bad.

I like to buy girly cigarettes -thin menthols or something. Girls will laugh when I pull em out and give me shit about it which is a great conversation starter. Cigarette peacocking, if you like.

Re lighters; I can't tell you the amount of times both men and women have asked me for a light when outside a bar etc.

Smoking sections are the best places, bar none, in a club/bar to start conversations.

We have already gone over The Greatest Pick up Line of All Time.

Roosh, who you might know from such books as Bang Colombia, is in the middle of a saga over at his blog called Gheridge (Gheridge Part One, Gheridge Part 2, Gheridge Part 3) reminded me how I have never posted The Greatest Opener of All Time.

In fact, I just used it to meet my future ex in Miami Beach.

I done a slight variation in Trinity College, Dublin last year. Except I had a lighter but purposely made it not work. That way I can look "legit" by trying to make it light (I removed the flint) I had another lighter anyway to smoke later on. Then digress into game when I got a positive response. Funny story actually... later that evening I met up with her at kicking out time of a nightclub (she knew I was going there). Brought her into my hotel and soon as the elevator doors opened she ran off... Now I switched to Ecigs it is very easy to forget having a lighter when I do carry a pack of cigs. Smoking areas are the best places to game. Even better if the smoking area has a bar too. A nightclub near where I live (13 miles away) has 2 bars in the smoking area and a BBQ to. It is always hustling there.

Speaking of lighters, game, and the greatest opener of all time "do you have a light" anyone know what happened to GManifesto? He was a legend in the manosphere community for his insightful (albeit weird) posts and now I haven't seen a comment or a blog post in over 2 years
