So there I was, sitting on my favourite leather recliner in McMahon Manor, with the au pair kneeling in front of me in her saucy French maid outfit, being oppressed by my Patriarchy.

And yet, the solution was obvious: why not stop rape... with a hashtag? It's an idea so radical and amazing, yet nobody seemed to have thought of it before!



I let Aleksandra complete her task, and sent her on her way with a cheeky smack on the rump. Then I took to the internet, only to find that some feminist genius had beaten me to the donkey-punch:

Violent crime has plummeted since the 1990s. Sexual assault is way down. A small percentage of men are said to commit most rapes.
