What do you do when a woman is being aloof? Is this some kind of test?

You are being somewhat too general, is she being aloof from the walkup? Tease her for it, "would your high horse like a drink?"
Is she being aloof as a person due to perceived statuses? Elicit what she gets that part of her identity form and wreck it!

And if she's just an aloof person all over, then you need to ask yourself why you're bothering with her. No T&A can make up for a mind void of warmth/spontaneity.

She's not being aloof through person; she's actually kind of shy. She's recently been aloof through electronic communication.

I unknowingly used game on her...before I discovered game. She got a bit interested which surprised me, but later on I slipped my beta-side for a moment. I've had mixed success since then. I know most guys would say to just move on, but girls like these don't come around everyday. She is definetely gf material. I know she'd qualify as gf material for most of the guys on the forum. Anyway, have any of you guys, who let a quick beta-slip occur, eventually have girls "come around"?

That's a pretty crazy generalization, amigo, as most guys on this forum don't keep a serious girlfriend (unless she doesn't know what else he gets into).

As far as your "slip" it depends on how major it was, usually girls will forgive/forget most mistakes once or twice. Keep making them and you're screwed though, unless she really likes you.
