RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
Jill Stein is particularly cunning due to the fact that she criticized Hillary Clinton before the election almost endorsing Donald Trump. That guaranteed her TV appearences - I doubt it would be the same if she came out in glowing support of The Cunt.

After the election she flip-flopped instantly used the triggering of the snowflakes to shake them down and get herself into the limelight.

Even Clinton knew that this was futile and that no one is going to overturn an election like that. Otherwise you would have to start a recount of her close states as well - maybe even assess how many dead people and illegals voted this time. And then you might have come out with Hillary ending up with 4 mio. less votes.

But hey - always respect the con. Politicians are born con-artists - paid to lie and pocket the big cash from their bosses while fleecing the little guy.

A massive scam, in full view of the public.
Yet for now, Shill Stein is still getting away with it.

Shill Stein has more balls than Bruce Jenner.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread

Via Washington Examiner:
Quote:Watch: Hillary Clinton greeted by sobbing women on Capitol Hill

Hillary Clinton was greeted by sobbing, ecstatic women on her way out of an event on Capitol Hill in Washington on Thursday.

The ardent supporters thanked the Democratic presidential nominee for running for president, albeit unsuccessfully. The group of 20-something-year-olds cried as Clinton shook their hands.

Clinton was in the company of former vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine, a Democratic senator from Virginia. Clinton spoke at Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid's portrait unveiling in the Russell Senate Office Building.

"This is not exactly the speech at the Capitol I hoped to be giving after the election," Clinton said. "But after a few weeks of taking selfies in the woods, I thought it would be a good idea to come out. And I'm very grateful to Harry for inviting me to be a part of this celebration."

"Selfies in the woods"?

Notice how Hillary quickly jumps on the fake news narrative, boy did we get spared a horrible fate with her as President. She would have moved on a crackdown of free-speech immediately.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
In the media a few days ago were several articles about Michelle Obama saying she went to bed early on election night. I take it as another subtle dig by the Obamas at Hillary Clinton. Clinton was expected to win, so Ms Obama saying she went to bed early means that she's rather openly announcing that she didn't give a shit about seeing Clinton's election victory.

I think the Obamas only campaigned for Hillary out of party loyalty and to try to protect their legacy. Otherwise, I don't think they like the Clintons too much.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
Obama was blackmailed into stumping so hard for her. He didn't do much of any down ticket work all election season.

The Clintons and Obama have a long history of debt and deals that go back to 2008. He likely "owed them one" or was threatened that they would take him down with him.

Obama was elected for himself. He did he DNC no good aside from sending them big fat cheques from fundraising every few months. Only time he hustled hard ft down tickets was during some midterms during the saga of Obamacare trying to get passed. He turned into a lame duck right after he got that through.

Don't forget that Trump led the birther movement charge eight years ago, there's no question about Obama preferring Clinton, regardless of personal rivalries going back to the 2008 primaries.

I hope Trump is just backing off on her prosecution until after his inauguration.

Hillary and Bill being exposed and put away will be the first dominoes to fall when draining the swamp. Their downfall will more than likely trigger a cascade of justice, the likes of which will scale out and involve people and corporations no one would have imagined.

I just hope he's up to the job and hasn't permanently put it on the back burner.

I'm dismayed at how many fairly non-cucked people on the right are saying Hillary should get a pass, because prosecuting her makes us looks like a banana republic. I'm getting the feeling that's what's going to happen simply because after tempers have cooled for several months, there will be no taste for going after her anymore.

I see the point about not throwing political opponents in jail, but it's not like Hillary isn't obviously a criminal. The head of the FBI outright stated that she broke the law. From where I'm standing, it looks a lot more corrupt to let her walk with absolutely no consequences just because she happened to run for office and lose. Is running for president some kind of de facto pardon? That looks like treating politicians as a higher class of citizen, the nobility of the US. It's not a good precedent.

I agree strongly with you on a moral and patriotic scale. However, politics is not morality. Trump has to still play the game to some degree or it will be outright chaos and anarchy. He can't start a war with half the country just to lock up Crooked Hillary, as satisfying as that would be. And yes, its well documented on the forum who would win that war. That, however, is the last thing we need to be doing at such a critical time in our nations history.

Trump needs to make a slow but steady realignment of US values and protocol. If he turns the heat up too fast and the frog jumps out of the pot we could see an impeachment, an assassination or complete rebellion of significant numbers. Four Eight years is a long time and with a Republican congress majority he will have the opportunity to achieve great things for the United States.

This was my initial assessment as well, however, in light of their inability to graciously accept defeat and all of the underhanded efforts they are going through to flip electors, recounting close Trump states and peddling the Russian hacking narrative, I am seriously reconsidering that stance.

I agree with you also. The true question here is it best to dramatically and decisively defeat your opponents, risking making a martyr your enemies will rally around? Or defeat them by letting them disappear into obscurity as one of the worst politicians in history? Also, realistically how many years does she have left? One or two?

I can't wait for the day "The Hillary Clinton thread" moves to page 57 or something, as she slips further and further into irrelevance. But unfortunately, it doesn't look like she's going anywhere for a while, unless she decides to cut us all a break by taking a sudden dirt nap, of course.

Trump really doesn't have to do much.
All he has to do is sack Comey and unleash the agents who actually were working on the case. Let the FBI do what it needs to do, maybe they'll dig into some nice stuff in the Clinton foundation.

I noticed those pictures as well.
Which just makes the whole thing even more weird.

Maybe the it's a bit of a 'shop. Maybe.
Yet the people in the photo are still largely unimpressive.

RE: The Hillary Clinton thread
Count on 'em to double down.
It's also a fair bet they'll eat their own.

Huma vs. the “Night Stalkers”
After a stunning election loss, the knives appear to be out in Clintonworld.

http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2016/12/h...er-clinton

But amid Clinton’s stunning post-election hangover, some inside the inner circle wonder if Abedin became overwhelmed by the attention, and shut too many people out. “She was enjoying the red carpet and enjoying the photo spreads much too much in my opinion,” one Clinton insider told me. “She enjoyed being a celebrity too much.” The close Clinton adviser elaborated that Abedin and the other tight-knit circle of people may have suffocated Clinton, preventing the campaign from taking in outside counsel. “The real anger is toward Hillary’s inner circle,” the Clinton insider told me. “They reinforced all the bad habits.” For instance, the suggestion had been made that Clinton should show her gregarious side, by, for instance, appearing more often on The View. (She appeared once, but Bernie Sanders, her rival for the nomination, appeared a handful of times.)
According to this person, however, the inner circle nixed that idea. It seemed, this person elaborated, that even minor suggestions about changing the narrative fell on deaf ears. “Right away,” this person continued, “it was either regarded as an intrusion or a naïve suggestion or maybe someone has an agenda. And so people just stopped bothering. Where in most presidential campaigns the circle grows broader and broader, hers grew smaller and smaller.” (A spokesperson for the Clinton campaign refutes this characterization, noting that the campaign may have had up to three times as many people on their plane during the election’s final weeks.)
In the month since the election, Abedin, once ubiquitous, has essentially vanished from public view. She was absent from the recent, and public, campaign exhumation that occurred at Harvard’s Kennedy School, during which her former colleagues tussled with Trump supporters such as Kellyanne Conway and Corey Lewandowski. Recently, the Daily Mail captured Abedin shopping at the Lululemon store on lower Fifth Avenue with her four-year-old son, Jordan, in tow. The story followed a report in the New York Post noting that Weiner, in the wake of his most recent sexting scandal, had cut short his rehab stay after about 30 days, supposedly because he ran out of money. (His family had wanted him to stay for 90 days, at a cost of around $1,000 per day, Richard Johnson reported in Page Six, and his parents reportedly took out a mortgage on their home to help him pay for the cost of the treatment.)
Compounding Weiner’s financial woes, in early December, the New York City Campaign Finance Board fined him more than $65,000 for a variety of infractions related to his mayoral campaign. Weiner apparently spent $600 of his campaign funds on televisions, another $1,539 on his personal dry-cleaning and cell-phone service, and more than $115,000 for a group of expenditures after the campaign was over. Weiner was also ordered to repay some $195,000 in matching campaign funds. Preet Bharara, the U.S. Attorney in the Southern District of New York, is reportedly investigating Weiner’s latest round of sexting, along with the F.B.I. and the New York City police.
Aside from Weiner’s public mishegas, Abedin has her own problems—namely coming to grips with the blame directed at her for the new stash of Clinton e-mails that ended up on his personal computer and that became the focus of F.B.I. director James Comey’s now infamous late-October letter to Congress. In the wake of her loss, Clinton told donors that Comey’s letter had cost her the election. Fairly or not, many people blame Comey’s letter with abruptly changing the narrative about Clinton at the penultimate moment of the campaign (despite his subsequent November 6 letter saying nothing new of substance was found on the computer).
But perhaps Abedin’s biggest challenge is that she may soon have a new boss for virtually the first time in her life. The Clinton insider reiterated that Huma, who has spent 21 years at Clinton’s side, might need to prepare for the reality, moving forward, that her “juice” was “tied to Clinton’s ascendancy.” Nevertheless, this person continued, “she’s someone that will be sought after either personally or through business from many rich, very rich connected people.” He concluded: “She’ll do very well for herself.”
On December 15, Clinton is having a big party in Manhattan at the Plaza Hotel, once owned by Trump, for her campaign donors, as a sort of thank-you and keep-in-touch farewell.
