Bad move to accept the plea deal. I do agree he probably could've gotten a massive settlement if he was willing to be patient and let the legal system run its course. But can't fault him for not wanting to be locked up much longer given the circumstances.

Hopefully the evidence in this case can be made more public. There had to be some very compelling evidence against him to hold him without bond for so long. I've had cases in which ridiculously violent offenders have gotten a low bond.

If I had to bet at this point, I'd say he was guilty of some of the charges. If the county prosecutors thought the victims had conspired it would have been practical for them to dismiss the charges.

They put him in jail for years, which in itself can be torture (a lot of white knight sociopaths and psychopaths in that place!). The plea deal appeared to be the only way out for him. Has anyone been in jail anywhere that long and at age 18?

Let's be real, if there was true justice available, he wouldn't have been in jail for that long before a trial.
