Feel that slope's slipperiness? Sexologist wants porn "critiqued" in classrooms
http://www.news.com.au/lifestyle/parenti...7293329261

Quote:They tout the need for youth to be able to differentiate between the expectations of their own sexual behaviour and what is depicted on the screen.

“We should strengthen their ability to distinguish between the media’s depictions of the body and sex and the everyday life of an average teenager,” Mr. Graugaard said.

The ubiquity of internet pornography is a rising challenge for parents of adolescents with growing concern that over-consumption has detrimental effects on sexual attitudes.

I think the rising challenge for parents of adolescents will be when their school system is determined to ram porn down their throats, generally without consent, and generally under the guise of "sex education". There's a difference between educating kids about something and sitting them down to show them, without filters, the thing involved. What's next, teachers have the kids sample different weed crops so they can critically analyse which one gets them closer to God?

Quote:Maree Crabbe, co-director of the documentary Love and Sex in the Age of Pornography which aired last year on SBS, believes young men’s sexual encounters are often shaped by porn.

“We’re reasonably close to saturation point. It’s probably more difficult for young people to avoid seeing porn than to see it at some stage,” she said. Ms. Crabbe also believes porn education for young teenagers in fundamentally necessary.

“Young people also need to have skills to critically analyse the effects of pornography on their behaviour,” she said.

Actually this could work if the intent is to stop kids watching porn altogether. Forcing a 14-year-old kid to sit down and "critically analyse" anything in the context of our shitty Western education brain farms is likely to put the fucking kid off the subject for life. Christ, imagine the exam questions: "Compare and contrast the approaches of Ron Jeremy and James Deen in 'Hairy Fuckers 71' and 'Split My Asshole Open 28'. Extra credit will be given for students who consider the significance of the different distances the cumshots reached."

Or maybe it'll just be more like this:

Quote:Despite the growing calls for porn education in schools, the idea is likely to receive a certain degree of pushback from parents and teachers alike. But evidently not from ninth graders.

When the same Danish broadcaster that spoke with Mr. Graugaard discussed the possibility of porn education at a school in Aalborg, the students were reportedly big supporters of the idea.

“I think you could get something out of it — for example the difference between real love between two people who have sex and hard porn and orgies from the US,” ninth grade student Anders Kaagaard said.

The triumph of pseudojournalism. Note the Pavlovian "get a comment from the other side of the debate!" being screamed at the dumbass reporter who submitted the article. Said "other side" being basically a comment from a thirteen year old kid. Fuck, do we really expect anything else from a horny teenager to the suggestion "How bout we show fuck movies in class?" For fucking real?

And lastly, as our educational talking point for the day:

If porn has saturated a mans mind then how do you explain women wanting to be fucked that way? Porn does not tell people to go into a field, wooded area, back alley or roof of a building and then fuck for a quickie or longer. I'm pretty sure a lot of guys on here have tales to tell of a girl who gave them a "fuck me" look in the middle of nowhere and promptly fucked her like a total gutter slut then and there with a smile on top.

The only problem with porn is its ability to change the chemical receptors of the brain, which has been proven. If a guy wants to learn how to fuck a girl in the ass then who is he going to ask? His parents, friends or Uncle Google?

Porn is a dependency problem and leads a man astray. Just gotta fight it.

Jeez. I can tell you one thing that will happen if high school students have to 'critique porn in the classroom'...that teachers banging students thread is going to to get ALOT longer.

I'd encourage my child to be as disruptive as possible. Make it as annoying as possible for the teacher.

Then when he gets in trouble, make sure they put in the file that he was interrupting a "class porn session".

Early sexualization stops bonding later in life, it stops forming healthy families, it stops them from having nuclear families. When there are no strong families led by strong men, then there is no opposition to the boot of oppression. So of course they are pushing it - they would want to show it for 4 year olds if they could.

Huxley predicted in Brave New World classes of pre-teen kids doing masturbation and orgy sessions. Did you think this was just a stupid idea concocted in the 1930s for a man as well connected as him (brother Julian Huxley was first UNESCO president and his family tree looks like the international who is who.

The ubiquity of internet pornography is a rising challenge for parents of adolescents with growing concern that over-consumption has detrimental effects on sexual attitudes.

I get so tired of this type of attitude from feminists. I have heard this idea that porn isn't "real sex" or is fake for a long time now. Invariably it is always made by either ugly feminists, middle age over the wall women, or girls who just can't compete with the more sexually adventurous. Which means it is really about trying to restrict men's sex drives.

Let's look at the first thing. Obviously, PORN IS REAL! Unless is it animated or something, they really are fucking. You see feminists that talk about how it isn't real sex but it IS REAL SEX. Even more, like most on this forum, I have had porn star type sex many different times before. Anytime a feminist uses the "it isn't a real depiction of real sex" type of argument, the best thing to do, which I have done before in person, is to mock them and their sex life as being boring. Watch them get pissed at that. Smile

The sexual attitudes is just code for trying to control and reign in men and younger boys sexual impulses. We tend to talk a lot on this forum about how much control women have in the sexual market, but this is somewhat illusory in many respects. Especially with younger girls who thrive on attention and feel a constant aching pang of insecurity and loneliness. If she has a crush and wants a boyfriend, she will learn that she either sucks dick and fucks like a pornstar or stays home alone. The latter is one of the worst fates for young girls, the only type that matter, who haven't had their soul fucked into oblivion on the cock carousel and become jaded.

I think there is also a very tangible fear for women of all ages that men really are going their own way with the sexodus. This is especially true with a lot of younger guys in HS and college and even post college. Why put up will all the bullshit from the opposite sex when you can just open pornhub for 20 minutes and then go back to playing video games or hanging out with your boys or whatever. While it is true that many alphas horde the pussy, especially in younger sex markets, there is still a very large group of girls who want the beta boyfriend, at least intellectually speaking, and when they can't get it they get caught up in a sexual arms race against other females.

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

Banning porn is a losing battle for the feminists. I can guarantee you that they will not win this battle. I predict a time when porn scenes are shown on mainstream TV. Many TV shows already have almost total nudity and depiction of fucking - they surpass soft-core movies of the 80s by far. Sooner or later they will start showing dick in pussy in HD.

Feminists will only "win" where they are in line with the long-term goals of social engineering. They essentially are like psychopaths let loose to wreak a specific amount of havoc - destruction of the family, herding women into spinster-land, creating single-motherhood households, shaming men, imprisoning men, undermining strong masculine men.

But banning porn and preventing men from getting hooked on porn at a way too early age? No - way - bitches have to bow to their puppet masters. They shall dance like Anita Sarkeesian:

I have wondered about this. With shows like Spartacus I somewhat thought some of it was just shock value but then when they started introducing gay characters it made me wonder if all the dick shown wasn't to either get gay men to watch or to potentially try and engineer less homophobia. If you get young straight guys to watch a bunch of masculine men killing people with gratuitous violence and sex and introduce some homoerotic themes and gratuitous scenes of cock, then maybe you desensitize them to gayness. I have wondered the same about some major porn sites. It seems that every time I am on a site like Xhamster or Xvideos I seem to find a lot of gay porn mixed in with the straight stuff. At a ratio of maybe 2 movies for every 50 or so. At the same time, how do those sites make money? Surely there aren't that many people clicking on the penis enlargement ads???

I generally agree with you. As far as TV shows go, I think part of it is just shock value. Another part is that there is a large audience that wants it. Would a show like Game of Thrones get a much viewership without the nudity? Maybe. But I do know that they got a lot of criticism, especially from feminists and the left, for the nudity and depictions of women.

As for the rest, I pretty much agree.

I kinda wonder if feminists have learned from their past mistakes. Andrea Dworkin and a few other radfems got anti-porn laws passed in Canada in the 70's I believe. Then the government got a bit more conservative in the 80s and Andrea Dworkins book got banned because it was considered porn. I wonder if something similar could happen today.

As far as the destruction of the family and erosion of culture, if these elites exist and want this then surely they must understand that they are susceptible to it also. I am not arguing really. I know there are puppet masters controlling things to a certain degree. But what I don't understand is how they think they will be immune to it. For such supposedly long term thinkers, they seem to not understand that their own daughters and sons, or grandkids, may end up in the same situation. Hell, just look at George W. Bush's daughters.

You are missing something - they don't care about something idealistic as marriage bonds and true love.

All they care is that they and their progeny keeps on ruling and even strengthening their elite position further. In fact in times past the elite fucked around on both sides (with women only barred from bearing children to other men).

Nowadays they don't really care as long the daughters marry a man of a powerful family and have 1-3 children. Afterwards they may go and ride the carousel again. The worthy progeny that will inherit most is created.

Also - if you are stupid enough to let your kid become a trust-fund coke-head, then you don't deserve to rule anyway. There is little sympathy there. The plutocracy cooperates for their long-term goals, but that does not mean that they have any kind of kinship left among each other.

Also - the Bushes still take great positions of power - the women usually don't matter. It's the men who are most important for the legacy.
