This 47 y.o. (who would rape her anyway?) woman made a media appearance on a talk show, talking about her rape story and describing all the details of how this happened. A few months ago, she also made a police report, claiming to have been beaten and raped, although her body shows no appearent physical sign of anything happening.

She also publicly blamed the Longueuil police service in the media, when she realized that the procedures were not moving fast enough. Last week, she got arrested, interrogated, and released. Although all medias claim that the story is false, she maintains her version of the facts and swears that this is true.

Perverting the court of justice and making a false testimony carries a maximum penalty of 5 years.

It's even worse than it seems. She lied about being sexually assaulted near where a girl, Jenique Dalcourt, was murdered probably because the murder was all over the news.

^This. It's clearly abusing the situation. And girls who get REALLY raped are usually ashamed, feel dirty and bad about it, and certainly don't feel like talking to anyone, even less to a media.

It seems ever since University of Virginia incident was found to be a false, prosecuting attorneys have made a change and have been pursuing these women for false rape charges. This is a step in the right direction.

It's dispiriting to realize that women do not age out of this kind of stupidity. You think women would know by 47 not to behave like irrational, attention-seeking teenagers. You'd be wrong.

One of the most depressing things I found after my divorce is that the single women I meet in their forties didn't seem to grow up, but I did. They seem mentally and emotionally frozen at a very young age.

If you're a young, single guy out there, don't think things necessarily get any better when you get older. The word is that women "soften." This might be true, but it's really only true for the ones who have kids and stay married. Those are not the ones you're going to be dating at 40. The ones you'll be dating will be like high schoolers with saggy skin.

All of which led me to coin a phrase (from January, 2014, before others started repeating it): Men grow up; women grow old.

This woman is the epitome of an attention seeking cunt and I hope that they throw the book at her but its in Quebec, the province with the softest laws in Canada (they are civil law there not common), she will likely get a slap on the wrist and house arrest. I feel sorry for the family and friends of the woman who was raped and murdered, they may have been getting over their grievance phase and then this idiot comes along with these false claims and its all over the news again, sad.
