At Penn State, one woman’s rule at fraternity parties: Don’t go upstairs
Was browsing the post this evening and came across this article as it was the #1 viewed article at the time today.

Quote:When Bridget Winch went to parties at Kappa Delta Rho, she observed one rule: Never go upstairs.

The petite Penn State sophomore, an engineering major with daisies painted on her fingernails, said men at the stone mansion culled guests at the door, admitting mostly women. Inside, she and others said, the brothers plied female guests with bottomless cups of Natural Light while a DJ blasted pop hits in the beer-soaked basement.

The article itself seemed to be the latest trend of highlighting fraternities as an issue. Some may remember the racial chant at the Oklahoma State fraternity.

I have never been to a frat. Perhaps some of you have or know someone who has and may have better input on this article than I.

A few additional quotes from the comments, same old stuff that more emasculation is required for things like this not to happen.

Quote:Better idea: Start raising young men not to be predators.

What does this training consist of?

Quote: To all those cautioning their daughters, here's a thought; how about teaching your *sons* a little personal responsibility and simple decency, as well? My husband and I have raised our son to responicble for his *own* darn behavior and we don't really care about peer preasure or *who* is around him. He is an adult and was raised to be a decent, honorable human being who can actually be trusted around women and/or girls. Why is the entire burden being placed only on the female students?

And how do the women feel about him?

Quote:"Don't go upstairs" should be EVERY woman's rule at fraternity parties. Better yet: "Don't go to fraternity parties."

Why not just have females have a female only party. If going to male parties are this dangerous they shouldn't be in any location that has the potential for alcohol, like a day care.

Quote: Why is the message never "If you are a man, and you wish to be a decent human being and not a jerk/rapist, and you come across a woman who is incapacitated by alcohol, instead of stripping her and/or sexually assaulting her and/or taking pictures to share with your pals, try finding her friends, getting her some help, or seeing that she gets safely home."

Her friends may or may not be shit-faced as well. I've seen it where her "friends" would leave her passed out drunk while trying to get some other guy.

That's actually pretty good advice for women. If you don't want to have sex then don't go upstairs.

All those comments read like:

"Yeah you misogynist shitlord! Why shouldn't our girls be able to go into a strange place and get blacked out wasted? Don't you believe in equality?! Personal responsibility? Sounds sexist to me!"

Fucking idiots.

This sort of reminds me of the Gavin Mcinnes spot on Hannity last week, especially with the above quotes from the news story posted by IAmDeGaussed...

(go to about 6:20 for the Panel discussion with Gavin and some delusional woman)

Quote:“This is a perfect example of liberals’ cognitive dissonance, where they say, ‘Everything’s cool – hey, it’s spring break, people party, women are the same as men,’ and when you have that stupid lie in your mind, you end up making women more vulnerable,” McInnes said.

“These women are not as strong as men, and when you let them go down there, you’re a terrible parent,” he continued. “If you let your son go down there, you’re a fairly bad parent. Sons are different than daughters, and modern spring break in 2015 isn’t even in the same universe as 10 years ago.”

Quote:“We’re different – sorry, equality is a myth,” McInnes said. “Women aren’t as strong as men, they can’t even hold their booze as well as men. Of course, it’s true – don’t be ridiculous.”

I agree- it is good advice to tell women to stay away from bad situations like the upstairs of a drunken frat house or a Panama City Beach spring break fuck fest if they are wasted. But of course, if a red-blooded guy hooks up with a girl there, it's his fault, and he might end up in jail if the girl decides she was raped. Where is the personal responsibility?

I didn't click the link because I don't want to give the article a hit and I can't stomach reading such trite without the Roosh member commentary (thanks to all you btw).

I noticed a sentence where the frat members "culled" girls into the house and gave them a lot of beer. Where is the account of frat members riding through State College a la Birth of a Nation abducting all these STEM females and future leaders of the world and forcibly inserting a beer bong into their asses. Or maybe every one of these girls voluntarily put themselves in this "situation"?

These stories are always interesting given the fact that I know a girl who got actually raped in a parking lot at my college already this year and still haven't seen a national news story about it anywhere.

I'll give the girl props though.

Anyone want to bet that the girl who takes a little bit of responsibility for her own actions by making it a rule to not go upstairs isn't the one who is "subjected to a vicious gang rape"?

The article does inadvertantly hit on one of the truths about college life without even realizing it. everyone who'se been knows that single women don't go to a frat house in order to "hang out" and have innocent fun while being perfect angels. They're going there because they want to get fucked hard by some of the perceived high social value dudes on campus.

I highly recommend the Netflix documentary (since disowned by Netflix)

The trailer doesn't even do it justice. I'm sure you can find it online somewhere. If not, PM me, I have it on DVD.

I went to spring break in college, it was awesome. Heck, I went in high school and it was outrageous. And everything was consensual Cool

So once again, this whole rape crisis is a bunch of nonsense.

A bunch of bitter women angry that the don't get the attention they feel entitled to, so they blame it on men.

They can't stomach the fact that 99% of the sex being had is consensual, doesn't involve them, or if it does it is a quick pump-and-dump. Their massive egos (developed in a culture that caters to them) are hurt, and someone has to be blamed.

I know that may sound like a strange theory, but I honestly think that's what it is.

I'm stoked he has emerged from media exile and is back posting on Facebook and Twitter. He is even a potential replacement for Greg Gutfeld as Red Eye host on Fox. All because of this classic article which took me ten minutes to find because the Internet melted down when he posted it:

Quote:Wait—you’re transphobic?
You have a problem with a guy having his penis removed? He’s a chick, you asshole. God fucked up and made him a dude, but luckily we have the technology to fix that mistake. Why couldn’t he just be a drag queen? Well, for one, he needs to feel a penis inside him. No, his butt doesn’t count. He needs to feel a penis go in and out of his vagina—you know, like all women crave. That feeling of having your vagina fucked. It’s a primal urge, and to deny some woman this feeling just because she’s a dude is downright barbaric.

Haven’t you seen all the totally functional, happily married, normal trannies walking around? They aren’t all dead, you know. They sell flowers at the local village and bake pies for their scores of adopted children. They’re non-heteronormative. In fact, the only thing more normal than castrating yourself and taking tons of hormones to grow tits is chopping them off. Women who get double mastectomies and then have their cunts turned inside out are just righting a wrong. They need to have a weird cheese blintz-looking thing sticking out of their previous cooch because it feels way better than wearing a strap-on. Sure, the nerve endings aren’t the same as a real dick, but standing up to go pee pee is something these women were born to do. How dare you have a problem with that?
You will be totally comfortable when your daughter marries a post-op dude and you should have no problems with her smoking his blintz. When your dad tells you he is going to have his penis removed and thrown into a biowaste container at the hospital, your soul will become a placid lake of calm. “That’s totally normal, dad” you’ll say and begin to call him Mom2 from that day forward.
When Janet Mock appears on MSNBC and talks about growing up as a black chick, nobody’s going to bat an eye. We’ll all be totally comfortable with him retroactively rewriting history and putting a skirt on all his boyhood memories.
I kid. I kid. Of course it’s fucking unusual. We’re all transphobic. We aren’t blind. We see there are no old trannies. They die of drug overdoses and suicide way before they’re 40 and nobody notices because nobody knows them. They are mentally ill gays who need help, and that help doesn’t include being maimed by physicians. These aren’t women trapped in a man’s body. They are nuts trapped in a crazy person’s body. I see them on the streets of New York. They are guys with tits and a sweatshirt. They wear jeans and New Balance. “What’s the matter with simply being a fag who wears makeup?” I think when I see them. You’re not a woman. You’re a tomboy at best. Get fucked in the ass. And ladies, if you’re a butch lesbian, you’re a lady with a lot of testosterone. Put a dick on a belt and fuck your girlfriend. You don’t need to turn your vagina inside out. You’re not a man. You don’t even know what Turf Builder is.
By pretending this is all perfectly sane, you are enabling these poor bastards to mutilate themselves. This insane war on pronouns is about telling people what to do. It may empower you to shut down a school’s computer system because they phrased your gender wrong, but that’s just a game to you. To them, it’s a life-changing event that fucks them up. To fight against transphobia is to justify trannies. To justify trannies is to allow mentally ill people to mutilate themselves. When your actions are getting people mutilated, you’re at war with them.
It’s not great for women, either. Buying woman parts from a hospital and calling yourself a broad trivializes what it is to be a woman. Womanhood is not on a shelf next to wigs and makeup. Similarly, being a dude is quite involved. Ripping your vaginal canal out of your fly doesn’t mean you are going to start inventing shit and knowing how cement works. Being a man is awesome. So is being a woman. We should revere these creations, not revel in their bastardization. Being gay is a weird quirk that happens at birth. It’s like being an albino. If you’re born that way, you shouldn’t fight it. You don’t need to change who you are. In fact, doing so is sexist, misandrist, homophobic, and further damages the lives of the mentally ill.

Great writing! Is this a fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm? "Petite" (read: childlike) girl with "daisies" on her fingernails meets the sinister "men at the stone mansion" where dastardly things are done in the basement to the young innocents.

I never would have thought it was actually a bunch of adults and equals (men and women are equals, right?) meeting to drink, dance and flirt.

RE: At Penn State, one woman’s rule at fraternity parties: Don’t go upstairs
This article is just a wet dream come true for the feminists out there. I mean a college sophomore woman in ENGINEERING (?!?!) talking about the evils of frat parties? This is just part of the larger narrative in the USA right now of throwing enough shit at fraternities to bring them all down. I've noticed an enormous amount of attention being paid to them lately, and it's not fooling anyone that the feminists would love to see them all go away. Unfortunately, with a lot of recent shut downs, I think the idea of fraternity as we know it is a dying breed.

Secondly, I actually went to Penn State and while I've never been to Kappa Delta Rho, I have been to others where I assume it's the same experience. And that is that the women who go to frat parties are all looking for a good time, get drunk way beyond the ability to function rationally and then take no personal responsibility for themselves when something they didn't intend (i.e. sex) happens. Back when I was in school, my friends and I would day game on Saturdays and one of the perks was walking by the frats and seeing how many girls were doing the walk of shame. There were many of them. If only they had a little personal responsibility, they wouldn't be in this position and that's why I have no respect for them nor do I see them as victims of any kind.

My guess is that this sophomore went to one too many frat parties, got drunk enough to sleep with one too many brothers who won't bother to call her back (who calls back a slut except if they want seconds?), and now is using that angst to write this article. The feminists wept tears of butter and soda (and then quickly consumed them).

You reap what you sow and when you want to act like a drunken slut, then men will treat you like one. You are not a victim, you were not raped, you are, in reality, just a child pretending to be an adult and someone else took your ball away from you.

I take no credit for the following find

Quote:Good news! There is no campus rape problem, much less a rape culture.
The Department of Justice has released its finding on rape and had concluded that it's not 1 in 5 women who are raped on college campuses but less than 1%! And the DOJ concluded that college students were LESS likely than the general population to be raped.

Report Here

has the summary and a link to the full report.

If anyone plans to do an article about female generate behavior (or just like having more firepower in their arsenal) then this DOJ report should definitely have the stopping power you need.

Enjoy.

RE: At Penn State, one woman’s rule at fraternity parties: Don’t go upstairs
Maybe the feminists are right on this one, maybe we should just treat all women like children who can't be held accountable for their actions. Pimp

WYGUW? (Would you go upstairs with?)

But where do these bitches flock to?

WIA

These are men's spaces. They will do anything to make sure their right to enter any space maintained by men can be entered by them harassment free, so that they can solicit male attention from the males inside it of their own choosing. Or just attention whore for the sheer fuck of it for narcissistic supply reasons.

Basic bitch is like that meme. "Hay guys what is going on in here?!"

If I was still in college I would start getting guys to yell shit like "get the fuck outta here THOT!" Nothing pisses off a woman more than being told no or that they are not allowed somewhere.

I see what you're saying, and though I agree the game has changed, (we didn't have hook up culture in the Mid 90's)

Best believe when the Mechanical Engineering Club hosts Robot Battle Royale every Friday night, nary a bitch will be on site or in sight.

Them boys playing intramural/club sports ain't getting no kinda love. "We got the best Rugby team in the Pac 10... *crickets*"

Your last name is Kim, Chen, Nguyen, Patel? Forget it. Hell even Jackson, Williams, and Gonzalez, Rodriguez had to work for theirs, and it's supposed to be easy for blacks and Latinos.

The world is full of male spaces, but for whatever reason we don't hear about a regret rape after an intense Call of Duty Session, or a game of Dungeons and Dragons running long.

"The guys were watching the game in the common room in our dorm, and before you know it, they had me ass up on the coffee table...."

Hmm, wonder why that is?

Why is it that these regret rapes typically only happen with the "big men on campus"?

I'm not as angry and manosphere as the next guy.
I'm a realist. I know what bitches want.
They want alpha, be it in future master of the universe amongst them white frat dudes, or major league ball contract and 18 inches of dick. It is what it is.

My beef is with the media. They make it seem like these bitches do not have options. They basically assume the meta narrative that the ONLY men of worth are the Jameis Winstons and Duke Lacrosse team type dudes. Every once in a while a professor scandal makes a dude lose tenureship.

Where's the female newscaster to ask Heather and Sally why they didn't go to that open mic night on the Quad and listen to some musicians and poets?

Who's asking these bitches if they're meeting dudes @ the charity drives?

Naw, I agree, these bitches are trying to soak up that male attention

It's not all males.
It's certain males.

The rest of us with XY chromosomes were basically invisible.

I REMEMBER COLLEGE.

Sunday-Thursday, them co-eds was crawling all over the floor, sneaking into the guy's bathroom cause the line was long on their side. Getting mad at you for coming into your own shit.

But Friday and Saturday, them hoes was GONE. Hell even the fresh off the boat bitches was chunking deuces, talking bout they got something to do after bible study.

WHERE YOU GOING MEI LING? WHAT'S UP WITH ORGANIC CHEMISTRY STUDY GROUP?

Angry, bitter, so be it.

I just call the shit as I see it.

I have no love for dumb jocks or stupid frats (white, black, latin, or Asian).

I have even less love for chicks that go to a sausage fest and complain that "there aren't any guys here"

I gotta say it's not bad advice and probably something I would tell my sister or niece. Granted that's not what a fat guy who wants to fuck them wants to hear but in all honestly thats the advice I'd give my sister or niece.

Let's be honest some frats are total scumbags and I'm not talking about gaming, I'm talking about many are borderline rapists. I took a date to a frat party one time after i was out of school and she and her gf both got something in their drinks I had to carry them both out to the car and it wasn't from drinking someone put something in there.

I gotta say it's kind a lose lose for women. We all joke on here about women doing stupid shit and then finding themselves naked in some house and whining about it when she was the reason for it and then here we have a women with a rule and being cautious and were giving her shit.

I didn't read the entire article but its not a bad rule if some girl isn't going out to get fucked.

In fairness I don't have a lot of experience wiht frats. My college wasn't really a place where you had to join a frat to have a goodtime. At University of Illinois if you wanna have a social life you pretty much have to join a frat and the frat houses are actually pretty giant and badass. That said my school though we had frats it wasn't a huge focus and you definately didn't have to join one to have an active social life. At my college we had like one cool frat where it was just cool dudes and stoners gaming chicks, the rest of the frats were kind of scumbags, dudes who would always jump people rather than fight one on one, would rufee, girls, etc so my experience with frats is mostly scumbags though I realize not all campuses are like that.
