Yes I agree. I usually put something like "See you tonight at 8pm ".

I usually send it by noon to 2pm on the day of the date. If it's longer than that many a time the girl would actually text me asking me if the date is still on.

Sorry. You're making up lost ground if you're trying to do "flake aversion". The solution is to have your game tight enough to begin with that the thought of flaking never even occurs to women. you're doing it right when they show up ten minutes early excited to see you.

I can't find the thread but an old post by RVF OG Kona resonated well with me.

How do you stop flaking?

i. Escalate nonstop (day or night game) - till you can't escalate for any external reason. Act like you'll never see her again. Always be thinking about the bang - not social norms or rules. If its day game, of course get a number, but lock plans before taking the number not after and text 15min after to remind.
ii. If its night game - numbers are close to useless. Night game should only be for SNLs. Only exception might be restaurant dinner game where she was sober.
