So since I started gaming about 9 month ago, I've had decent results yest but I still felt that my game can get better not just by improving my game, but improving my lifestyle and getting a look that fits me. Thing is I don't know which style fits me the best!! Other than the need to lose some weight and get healthy, I feel that my look is either too dull or too out there, can't figure which is which.

In Scotland, some girls would be like your look is great I love it, and others were like it could be better, but since coming to Japan I feel that my look is a little bit "too much" for their taste? I don't know how to say it so I was wondering is it acceptable to post a picture of me? and you guys can tell me what needs to be changed and what needs to be improved.

1) Take a brand new pic

2) Slice your head off with microsoft paint or other image manipulation tool

3) Scrub any telltale data from the file.

We'll tell you what to do.

Or

Read any of the copious Japanese fashion magazines

Or

Spend your time in the cool areas of Japan and look for something that looks cool and try to emulate it.

Thanks, I'll definitely do that after work. And I did try looking into Japanese fashion, but I still don't know if it fits me or not. I have a middle eastern look so imagine that with some Japanese hipster clothes on..

And can't I keep the face? Major part of the change comes with my facial features with the beard and all, but if it is against the rules I understand.

It's not against the rules, but doing reverse image searches is a great way to lose your anonymity.

Jealous chicks, Employers, governments....

If someone really wants to find you, they can. But why make it easy? Especially 10 seconds in microsoft paint is nothing

I am NOT opposed to following WIA's suggestions; however, as suggested by Travesty444, your post is coming off a bit clownish.. because it does NOT seem like the normal kind of interactions that guys expect to have.. but never say never because I have seen a few RVF threads on similar topics regarding how guys may make certain appearance changes.

In any event, many times, guys do NOT really get that obsessed with looks and talking about it, and there are probably better ways to discuss your various issues when it comes to interacting with people (maybe focusing on women?).

I would think that you should be able to figure out some way to dress for your own regarding you rlook and then to be able to fit into whatever place you are in based on similar people in the area or some acceptable variation that you would like to mimic.

Then the more important question would be concerning how you are interacting with people rather than how you are dressed or whether you are properly groomed, etc etc....

But if you believe a picture is worth a thousand words and you are NOT particularly concerned about your anonymity, then go ahead and post something in this thread to find out how various guys may react to your current look and/or presentation.

One thing that may be strange though is that guys may NOT tell you some specifics because it is generally NOT a frequent way that guys interact with one another, unless some of the presentation matters are fairly obvious. For example, I may say, "oh, you look fairly well presentable" or something like that, depending on what I were to see in such a proposed pic.

Post a picture. You have zero rep points and the chance of anyone IRL doing an image search of that particular picture and biting you with it is basically zero.

I know it is, but some replies are a bit worrying, I honestly don't give a shit if someone wants to use that picture for whatever reason, but I wanted a constructive criticism and I would rather avoid trollers. WIA and JayJuanGee's replies did help steer me in a right direction though so I'll try that out and see how it works

I am glad that you are considering some various avenues to try a few things on your own and then test them out. I doubt that the point or difficulty in this thread is really narrowing in on any real uncomfortableness for guys to talk about fashion, it just comes off a bit trollish, if you do NOT have too many posts or rep points and then you begin threads that are NOT very typical of the forum and they seem to cause guys to have to engage in practices and/or analysis that are NOT too typical of the ways that guys generally like to approach these kinds of matters.

In any event, probably you are going to be much better off and even in a better position to formulate a post (if needed) after you experiment a little more on your own regarding the topic.

If you try out a few things and even take pictures of them, then it could be interesting to hear if you believe that you got different results from one kind of presentation as compared to another kind of presentation in the event that the other conditions are similar.

Ya I think its better to head off and try this plan out first and I'll then post about it here with results and pictures if necessary. Since summer is almost here, I'll go shopping for some of those outfits after I decide which style to opt to.
