Why do so many mentally ill people look crazy? I am not trying to rag on people that have mental illnesses. However, especially with women, if they have signs that they were crazy their eyes usually give it away. Why do their eyes look different from most people?

This is against red pill party line but most of the photos where we are exclaim, "Look at those crazy eyes" are mugshots.

Mugshots usually happen under a lot of stress, in unfavorable conditions, with Police officers barking at you "Look straight! Don't blink! Don't move!" and sometimes under the influence. A certain degree of glassiness or craziness is to be expected.

I don't disagree that you can tell some people are a bit crazy by looking at their eyes, but I don't think most impromptu snapshots are a good indicator of it.

This is an interesting topic. I've noticed that crazy men have an often feral or evil look about them, like they're at least aware of what they are and relish it in some way.









They usually are incapable of feeling real emotion or empathy. It seems that a common trigger of this state is childhood abuse or trauma.

Crazy western women just seem more frantic and spastic, like they're completely out of control and overwhelmed by their emotions. I really doubt most of their problems are caused by trauma like men's are, but probably moreso because they've been coddled their entire lives and the narcissism has ramped up to 11.

I don't know, though. This is all guesswork. I do think the hypothesized origins of the personality disorders and shit that lead to these people being crazy are pretty fascinating. The evolutionary explanations for things like psychopathy (particularly the cunning and the lack of startle response) seem to suggest that in prehistoric times it might've been a useful adaptation for survival. Instead of being crippled by PTSD or cowardice, the psychopath had no problem engaging in violence. This would make them decent warriors capable of long sustained conflict without risking the same sort of mental exhaustion that would break normal men. The problem is, of course, that outside of very specific circumstances (like battle) they're troublemakers and anti-social. They need to do risky shit to feel anything, which leads to thievery, promiscuous sex, daredevilry, fighting, murder (rarely), etc.

I once heard an anecdote about a World War II US soldier who was crazy. He served a stint in jail as a youth for manslaughter and when he joined up he barely got through basic training because of behavioral issues. Men who served with him in combat said he was tough, but fucking nuts. He'd expose himself to fire to curse at the Japanese during combat and enjoyed killing as many of them as he could. He also carried a tomahawk and bet a native soldier that he could scalp more Japanese than he could. Don't know if it's true or not, but it sounded believable enough.

E.B Sledge's With the Old Breed at Peleliu and Okinawa makes mention of some Marines prying gold teeth out of still living Japanese soldiers with their combat knives.

During the war the Germans had the Dirlewanger Brigade which was composed of convicted criminals who were mostly psychopaths that were so unpredictable military police had to be used to rein them in on occasion.

Eye contact is a complex and ancient form of physical communication that conveys a wide array of human emotions--everything from fear, to attraction, to discomfort. It requires a pretty high level of social intelligence and emotional balance. People who are mentally ill usually lack those traits, and transmit that through persistent or "penetrating" eye contact. The difference between "normal" and "weird" eye contact is subtle, but a great majority of people can perceive a difference, proving just how important eye contact is to human communication.

Interestingly, the average American girl isn't trailing far behind in their lack of those traits. I'm not the first or last to point out just how much they avoid eye contact altogether--a mark of their phobia and ineptitude in even the most basic of social situations.

I've noticed that being able to see the whites of the eyes in between the top of iris and the upper lid is pretty much a sure sign of crazy, and is especially common in crazy women. This must have some neurological basis.

The human mind is tuned to read a great deal about other people from their body language and facial expressions. I'd studied psychology in college, and knew this at a book learning level, but after I took the red pill, I could really tell the difference. We've probably all learned to recognize the difference between a beta supplicating smile and a confident alpha facial expression. I was amazed when I started recognizing whether men (or women) had higher or lower than average levels of testosterone. In particular, it is common to see men out in public who clearly have low levels of testosterone.
It makes sense that these underlying personal states would be reflected visually, in a way that others can see. High T men look more masculine just like high fertility women look sexier. So, in the case of the crazy, it's only natural that it should be perceivable in a person's body language, facial expressions, and tone of voice.

"The look" is an extreme of expressions, either no expression when their should be or over expression when their shouldn't be. Its along the same lines as why clowns genuinely terrify people as the painted face is an over expression that doesn't match with the environment.

I'm a little surprised, but I can't seem to google very many good examples. There are lots of mentions of supplicating betas in the manosphere, and there is plenty of advice not to smile too much. At some point, I got the image in my mind of the smile on the face of an eager-to-please supplicating beta, and have had this term in my mind. However, when I google "supplicating beta", most of the pictures are either off-topic, or show James Bond or the like.

I confess that I'm a bit of a masochist and find crazy eyes to be kinda hot. Definitely a +1 on my numerical scale for crazy eyes. You know they're going to throw down in bed; the way they almost, ok actually, stalk you in the beginning of the relationship is kinda cute. You definitely need to have a friend's place she doesn't know about where you, and any pets you may have, can lay low for a while after you dump her via text. For your own safety, you do need to dump cray cray girls via text from an undisclosed location.

The difference between "crazy bum on the bus" eye contact and confident, penetrating eye contact is pretty thin - it's not a matter of duration either.

Crazy: eyes wide open, neck craning forward along with the rest of the body lurching forward.
Confident: eyes more squinty, body lurching back, relaxed, standoffish.

With the crazy, you feel like they're about to jump you; as the subject of a confident glare, you may feel belittled, patronized, out of place, but not threatened with violence.

The crazy's body language suggests he wants to engage with you, the confident's wants to dismiss you. The crazy is reactive and menacing, the confident is the stoic oak. The crazy is outcome dependent - his whole mood will change based on how you behave. The confident man is indifferent.

Similarly, if you deliver asshole game with reactive body language, it will seem weird, creepy and false - because if you were truly an asshole, you wouldn't care how people respond to you.

There's just something extremely fucking menacing wandering in his eyes/stare. If you look at other warmongers like Cheney and Mccain, you'll notice a similar look. Hollow and cold as ice. Didn't mean to get political, just thought it was an interesting trend.
