It's not bullshit, but I believe there is some stipulations. I want to say it's one or two years after after signing birth certificates taking responsibility, that you can get out if you porve they are not yours. I'm not sure though, one of the lawyers here can chime in hopefully.

Well - of course it's possible that the show was staged to a high degree, but the guy never doubted that the kids were not his. She just supposedly repeated it. He had no trouble raising someone else's kids.

As far as genetic testing goes - it is highly limited. If you are married, then the child could be green and alien - it would still be yours legally. DNA tests are only helpful if the mother puts you down as a parent.

But there is a catch with that as well - if she does not notify you and years go by without you knowing that you have a child, she can legally sue you years later for child support and you don't want to have those buggers chasing you. Of course if you are well off and have the best lawyers you might make the cut - otherwise you are probably fucked anyway - there was one such case recently about a guy who found out about his supposed child only by being arrested for not paying child support. Now it was even new to me that if you are behind 2500$ in child support (for some men that is one month), then your driving license and your passport can be revoked.

Yes, that show and others like it are notoriously fake - utterly staged with actors playing the parts of dupes supposedly surprised to learn they aren't the father, etc. It's all a big put on - the participants are compensated for their roles.

Unless of course, you're a woman. I know one 32 year old with two kids from two different guys (one is from her recent ex-husband) who decided to get divorced and leave the kids with him and his new wife.

She admitted he's probably a better parent than she'll ever be, but that's all it cost her - she doesn't owe anything in terms of child support and could probably get the kids back at any time, should she change her mind. Definitely a heads I win, tails you lose world for her.

I think the best way to improve the quality of western women would be to end child support and social programs for single mothers. If women knew that at any point a man could leave her and disown her kids, then within a generation they would grow up.

Presently women are getting all of their needs and desires provided for by men and the government with very little in the way of responsibility expected from them. Get knocked up by a sexy felon, oh well the government will help you pay your bills and put food on the table until you can find some herb dumb enough to wife you up.

I really think the bull shit we see in our society today is literally women shit testing us as an entire gender. I think they would seriously be happier if we collectively sent them to bed without their dinner until they learned to behave.

There was a story several years ago about a married German woman who had a black kid.

In Canada, there's a reasonable chance he'd have to continue paying. Step dads can be ordered to pay support for their ex-step children even where there is already a dad paying support. I don't practice family law but there have been numerous cases where that occurred.

Aka, if you get with a woman with kids be forewarned you may end up paying child support.

If the child is mine, I'll pay according to the court order. If the child is NOT mine, I'd flee the country to avoid paying child support, and defend myself as far as I can.
