I'll be honest with you guys, when I first started learning game, I did it mainly for getting girls but now as I move further along in my journey, I realize that my reason to continue learning game is to become the ideal man, the alpha man, and the social man. Gaming isn't limited to just girls but is applicable in all parts of life. As my mentor Arash Dibazar would say, "Life is game and Game is life". With that being said, what are your reasons for studying game?

When I first started learning game, it was to lose my pesky virginity!

Then my reasons evolved towards getting a girlfriend and then I ended up getting married. Basically a daily dose of blue pill.

Now I'm getting divorced and my game is really rusty, so I'm basically starting over. Today my reason for re-learning game is to get my dick wet on a regular basis. Basically I've come around a full circle...

Game is much more than just getting laid.

It helps you understand female nature, nature of relationships, helps you deal not only with girls you want to fuck, but also daughters, mothers, aunts and grandmothers.

Game is something that all MEN need like writing or basic math - even celebs need it as is clear whenever they are in a relationship and get divorce-raped crying over their Lakers tickets.

Game should be taught to any man above 14 in a perfect world.

I started gaming a few years ago because I kept seeing girls and wanted to try what it's like to try a lot of them and be able to experience that.

There is a good feeling and good vibe when you fuck a new girl for the first time, and this can be done with game.

As the saying goes, "Men want to fuck many girls one time, while woman want to fuck one man many times".

However, game is more than just girls. It's the basic of relationships and the same principles can be used for sales, closing deals, etc.

When I was 16 I got into a LTR with a woman who ticked all the right boxes for me, she was in my opinion a solid 7.5 she was short, had good hair, was a virgin, and also had a nice body and great smile but the main thing was that she was completely obsessed with me. At the time I had no idea why but from looking back on it I had done everything right from a game point of view.

I was constantly ignoring her / flaking on her to hang around with male friends / she would always be the first to call or say she loves me (I would hardly if ever say something nice without an air of cheekiness / cockiness to the sentence)

That relationship lasted 4 years and in that 4 years she stood by me through everything I had gone through (problems at home / losing my job / getting jumped and having to stay in hospital / ETC) coming towards the end of the relationship I started seeing another girl (I had become bored, she had a lot of good qualities to her but being young and seeing other beautiful women out and about got the best of me)

When I finally broke things off and got with the new girl I suddenly developed a case of oneitis (something I had never experienced before but was due to me putting this new girl on a pedestal, something I would later come to realise) I was constantly available for her / texting her / doing nice things for her. These actions caused a complete role reversal with the new relationship in comparison to the old one.

Eventually I got dumped but had no idea why things had gone so wrong. A few years later I ran into RVF randomly and the pieces started to fit together. I'd realised my prior aloof and distant persona was the reason I had such a strong relationship before and how being a complete raging beta faggot in the one after had led me to being broken into pieces.

I'm in a LTR at the moment and having the information this forum has provided me I've been able to keep it completely hassle free.

But the main reason as to why I'm learning game would be that I had finally had enough of the way my life was going. Learning game and finally taking the red pill so to speak really helped mold me into more of the man I wanted to / deserved to become.

I THINK a lot of people, including myself, learn game because they have been burned badly in the past.

Let's face it, EVERY guy wants girls, lots of girls, hot girls. But most will never have nor need the drive to learn game and be very successful with women until there's something that really pushes you over the edge.

That and besides, I want to be able to get girls who would otherwise not be available to me. If you are a 6 and pulling regular 4-5, that's not good game and it's nothing to brag about. Game let you pull girls above your SMV value.

In my country, there's and idiom saying "deep in the heart of every player, there's a young boy whose feelings are eternally hurt by someone"

I partially read "The Game" with mystery and all them.

Fell off, then got in a serious relationship.

Then got pretty broken up when it ended.

I knew about PUA sites, I joined a forum, asked one question.

Then I found inner-game dvd's by david deangelo, which blew my mind, I watched some of the DVD's also watched the count of monte christo.

Then a buddy of mine sends a me a funny link to a website called Return of Kings.

From there I found RVF about a year and a half ago - the rest....is still an on going process.

I like game because it's strengthened me in mind, body, and spirit.

I love meeting new and more beautiful girls, the rush after you've banged them.

What's not to love about game ?

I now believe that these things can and do happen. I've had some experiences that have made me a believer.

I don't know how to explain it scientifically..

I also study Einstein and physics. Einstein believed that these things were possible and described them as "spooky action at a distance".

It sounds crazy but Albert Einstein agrees with me!

Some people just have a greater awareness in terms of "reading" people, reading situations, "sensing" strength or weakness, sensing that something is not right, etc.

Some people's awareness is so finely tuned that it borders on "psychic".

Maybe, it's just our sub-conscious mind at work?

I agree, when it comes to reading people, girls, situations, and vibes.

Your situational awareness and sit rep are highly tuned compared to others who don't know game.

Trav's right in an essence you CAN see into the future because you can correctly predict a woman's actions (even if they are irrational).

The constant interaction we have with women provides the background and probabilities of what a woman will do.

To start getting laid more regularly again, after being well past the age now where I enjoy going to clubs and bars on an even remotely regular basis. I did relatively okay with primarily one night stands back in my native Denmark in my late teens and through my twenties, and my few longer relationships (months rather than years) started as same night lays, where being a nice guy didn't necessarily spell disaster when the girls were drunk enough - which they usually were.

While red pill knowledge relating to female nature and behaviour is obviously directly applicable to game - and is helping me a lot now that I live in a country where I've had to rely primarily on dating, something I had virtually zero experience with in the past where alcohol and a make-out sealed the deal when I managed to make an impression - the last year I've also found many of the broader topics of the manosphere quite interesting to read, even if it's more out of curiosity than because it's particularly relevant to my lifestyle in most cases.
Aside from being way too nice and too naive in my dealings with women in the past, I was otherwise feeling quite good about myself (sort of like a confident blue pill "rebel" who didn't give too much of a fuck about what at least other men and society in general thought about me) and haven't felt the need to make any other major adjustments on my path to being and improving the man I am.

"How do I become a better man?" I always seemed to be asking myself that question, over the last fifteen years. I listened to what other women had to say, what my parents had to say, what Tumblr and Slate and Salon and Twitter and all the rest had to say, and all it ever did was make women hate me.

I'd lay my hand on my (ex)girlfriend's shoulder when she was feeling unhappy, and she'd swat it off with a look of utter revulsion. I'd lean in to kiss her oh-so-tenderly at the end of a night out and she'd push me away. One girl even said, after I bought her an expensive gift (inspired by an online article), "I wish you'd never fallen in love with me."

Time and again, life returned me to this motif. The gentle, thoughtful, doting man I'd been brought up to be -- the hero of the story called Life -- women shivered at his touch. His affections twisted their faces with loathing. And all those creative, spontaneous displays of romance that they'd sworn on their blogs were a lost art were the stuff of nightmares when transformed into reality. Over and over, I found myself with a girl I cared about, dumbfounded by the venom and the scorn and the seething resentment on display before me.

Then I started reading Roosh. I started reading RoK. I joined RVF.

About four months after I finished Bang, this girl who had told me months before, to my face, that I was "the last kind of guy she'd ever date" met me for a drink. Just to catch up. It'd been a while.



What did fifteen years of "just be yourself" and "be romantic" and "treat me like a woman" leave me with? An endless gauntlet of resentment, rejection, and revulsion from women to whom I'd "opened my heart."

What did four months of studying game leave me with? An intense, molten hot, downright barbarian bang with a hot girl who'd previously written me off.

I've learned better, healthier, and more dignifying lessons from just a year of studying game than I ever could from a lifetime of obsequious pleading before the altar of 21st century feminism. I don't regret a minute of the time I've spent reading it. And once you learn the lessons it teaches you, I don't think you can ever really forget them.

Besides, it's amazing how much better life gets when you stop taking women so seriously.

This was a part of a larger self-improvement project.

First it started with my fitness and mental health, then I started to work on my mindset, then girls kind of fell into the picture when I was ready. I'm far from being a "great" player, but there is a peace of mind I have knowing I can find a new girl within a week's time if my current girls don't act right.

Just having that choice is magical and does a lot for my confidence.

Inspiring post. The truth of the matter is that a man learning Game and becoming more Alpha is a man who turns into his natural default state.
