Inviting for things without coming off as a snob
So it's happened sometimes that I'll offer to just invite for something which for me, as someone who is working (and in a country with an overvalued currency), that they'll make it a big deal and make me feel uncomfortable about it...this is about trivial things for me...like taking a cab or just covering drinks (and I'm talking about beers) when the girl is broke...

I'm travelling and just want to have fun...I'm not gonna take buses and subways around if it's gonna take significant amount of time over taking a cab and the cab is cheap (2-8 EUR)...I'm not a spoiled brat, I love taking subways, and public transportation, but in some instances it doesn't make sense. Same instance if some girl is fretting about a few EUR and seemingly seems to be a broke student or something

Don't know if I'm explaining myself best but I've had 2-3 instances recently where I felt like a spoiled snob just because I wanted to take cabs around from place to place or wanted to eat at a good place. I'm not talking about the kind of girl who is expecting provider game, I think those girls wouldn't be bothered about it...I'm talking about this in the context of just wanting to do shit my way, being there to party, and my guest is welcome to come along for the ride without making a big deal about it.

Sounds like you just have a preference for certain things, nothing wrong with that in the least

As you grow and experience life it's natural to draw certain contrasts or distinctions; once you have become accustomed to convenience, better food, clothing, lodging etc it can be hard to go back to what you consider to be things of lesser quality/convenient

After more life experiences, I've noticed the same things. I won't stay at certain hotels, eat certain foods, or even patronize certain stores even at the cost of paying a little more. If you want to splurge a little or even buy the whole bar drinks out of the goodness of your heart, so what...

Don't let anyone shame you into feeling bad about your lifestyle choices, especially since a) You're not harming anyone else b) It's your money

Girls are like that in some countries only - I noticed it in Austria, Germany & Switzerland. If they do it in EE, then something is off - they are actually accepting of that.

If a girl there reacts strangely to that, then you can counter that - sometimes it's something about yourself. You can be cool and make some jokes about it of being incredibly rich. Even saying something like: "I'm Swiss. We are all rich." with a smile is often enough.

However you meet occasionally a girl who has drunk the feminist "empowered" woman cool-aid and almost anything is offensive to her. Never apologize for having money. If it's a crazy socialist chick, even then you can pull her to your side: "Let's be crazy & indulge in some decadent capitalist pleasure and take a cab, comrade Sonja!" There are plenty of ways to make everyone feel comfortable.

I once met an Indian Alpha in Budapest who invited everyone - men and women for food and drink. He was a millionaire alright, but I am not poor either. He insisted and said to order what I wanted - it was his treat. He was cool about it, because he said later that he is of the opinion that you have to spend a lot in order to earn a lot.
