I haven't seen any articles with the details. If guilty, certainly he deserves what's happening to him. However, the only detail about the incident I heard was from this: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketba...lue-devils

He was accused by two women of rape "at a retreat".

Lol, this sounds almost like a caricature of a falsely accused rape case. This sets off all kind of red flags. In this case, neither of these girls went to the police or called 911. (Obviously, they must not have called their mothers crying either...) Instead, they waited until a retreat to tell how they'd been raped.

Too easy to imagine the scenario. You've got undergrad girls, feeling guilty that they screwed a big black guy after the fact. They'd much rather believe that they didn't choose to do that. Combine that with, you're at a retreat, sharing emotional stories of bad things that have happened to you. Meanwhile, the athletic teams on campus have screwed a decent percentage of the undergrad population. You only need one or two to have psychological issues. As soon as these girls told of being raped, you can imagine the outpouring of emotional support they received from everyone at the retreat. Girls in that situation have too many incentives to say they were raped.

Now, Mike Krzyzewski threw this kid under the bus, likely because of rape hysteria. Maybe there is compelling evidence against him, but my understanding is that he hasn't been charged and there isn't even enough evidence to kick him out of school at Duke. This kid looks like another victim.

I am also watching this case to see how the evidence plays out. I have a feeling there is gonna be nothing but he said she said, text messages tell a different story, and no one called the cops kind of deal, but that is just an early prediction.
