The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu understands the true magnitude to the threat to western civilization that militant Islam represents. He's a true patriot who loves his country.

In my opinion this was a great speech that was quite profound.

I'm thinking Obama was seething and throwing shit while watching this speech. Obama's aides probably heard a freaking tirade. Of course, he tries to come off smooth and calm in is public rebuttal.

I thought Netanyahu was pretty aggressive in his speech. I believe the address to Congress was as rousing for supporters of Israel as it was confrontational for those who are neutral to the sides in the matter.

Obama's job negotiating with Iran just got much harder.

Israel bombed Iranian nuclear sites in the 80s. It set Iran's nuke program back decades.

They could do it again. However, they need special bunker busters to reach the highly technological , deeply armored nuke sites Iran now has. The U.S. My understanding is they're being denied the ability to purchase this weaponry now by the current administration.

Negotiation doesn't work with Mullah's who have a 15th century mindset who only want to bring the entire world back 500 years.

They only understand and respond to the aggressive use of force. It's all they know.

Words, promises and "treaties" mean nothing to them because in their mind, they're negotiating with subhuman pigs (jews) or representatives of Satan ( Americans)....so, in they're mind, there is no real honor between them and evil and lower life forms ( as they perceive it)

It's a powerful bond, the common destiny he mentioned. From composers like Mendelssohn, painters like Chagall, scientists like Einstein and Oppenheim, the Jews have been one of the pillars of the West. Drastically outweighed by their murderous contributions of communism and marxism, but pillars nonetheless.

For the first seven minutes, he really does thank the United States for supporting Israel. Very direct and sincere. The Israelis know that without us they'd have been a red smear a long time ago. He articulated the reasons the Israel-USA alliance should remain strong. This is a man who lost his brother to the Muslims. It's not empty words he's speaking.

The most important point is that Islam with the nuclear bomb is a existential threat to the species. A country so unbarbaric like Iran with suuuch a modern commitment to science, that obsessed with nuclear energy?

Also, it didn't go unnoticed by me that Elie Wiesel was introduced as a Holocaust survivor before he was introduced as a Nobel Prize recipient. There's still the issue of the Jews' undue influence over the United States, but on the issue of Iran, I agree with Netanyahu.

In my opinion, nukes nowadays are just an insurance against invasion – they can’t really be used, since to use one would a Pyrrhic victory. These countries are so close geographically, that they would hurt themselves by using them.

There’s already a Muslim country with nukes – Pakistan. As long as the military is running things there, they’re not gonna bomb anybody. Their main enemy is India, and they’re not gonna try to nuke them since it would be suicide.

Has Israel funded terrorists for decades who have blown up, beheaded, shot to death and in other ways killed scores of people, including many Americans?

No, Israel hasn't. But Iran has. Who would a reasonable person assume would be a greater threat with nuclear weapons?

Iran wouldn't necessarily have to nuke Mecca or Medina. They could simply just nuke Riyadh, Jeddah, and the oil fields. Doing that would bring Saudi Arabia to its knees whilst the rest of the Sunni world and especially Pakistan proceeds to destroy Iran.

A nuclear war in the Middle East between the Saudis and the Iranians would be the most damaging event in the Islamic world since the fall of the Ottoman Empire. Given the fact that we would have three very religiously driven and nationalist nations in the region that create a triangle of mutual and existential hatred, it would be no surprise for the Middle Eastern nations to eventually glass each other into oblivion.

Has Iran really done anything all that terrible lately? Last thing I heard out of them was having a "Who can make the best holocaust cartoon?" competition in response to some Mohammed drawings. As far as having a nuclear weapon is concerned their primary goal would be deterrent to keep Israel from airstriking them willy nilly, they aren't suicidal and insane like the Salafist groups. In fact, an Iranian nuclear weapon would most likely be detonated over those assholes in Saudi Arabia or ISIS, so I say let them have at it.

As a Jewish man, I always find the whole Israel love by American politicians to be sad.

Nearly all of us vote, and give time and money. That's all it's about. It's trolling for money and votes.

I believe Israel is our ally and we should support our friends, just as we would any other ally. But I'm an American, and we shouldn't allow any other country dictate our foreign policy to us.

Frankly, if I was President and a leader of an ally country acted this way towards me, I'd immediately cancel all foreign aid to that country, install a doggy door in my office, and make them crawl through it and beg for it back.

Which is as a leader should be, however I see no reason to give him our trust beyind recognizing that.

I certainly don't think he cares about mass immigration but I am willing to be proven wrong on that. Of course I don't expect him to care, it is up to Europe and America to resolve that in a way which stops the endless numbers coming in but also does not shut the door entirely (or at least not forever).
I picked that issue because it is an existential crisis for western culture as I see it, cultural dissolution from failure to assimilate which is tied to the unending deluge of new arrivals. I want to make that clear.

To say Bibi cares excessively about Western Nations is unproven in my eyes.
He is not above suspicion.

The prequel to this story that almost nobody in the West knows about is that Iran actually attacked the Osirik reactor first and slightly damaged it. I despise Israel. I feel we in the west make too many sacrifices for their existence. Look at the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Many Europeans died alongside American soldiers in those conflicts while "our greatest ally" remained on the sidelines. Toppling Hussein was for Israeli national security, not the USA.

However, I will agree with Netanyahu that Islam is a threat to the west based on what I've seen from multiculturalist immigration policies in the west. We have allowed the enemy within our borders. They are literally murdering and raping our nations.

Israel is only our ally in the fact that we share a common enemy. Other than that, I could care less about them.

I don't see how my opinions could affect the global policy of world leaders, so I've invested no energy or effort into developing an opinion on this matter, but I am finding the extreme bipartisan nature of the comments to far quite entertaining.

It seems that being a red-pill forum is no shortcut to agreement on controversial aspects of international relations.

Although I don't have any opinion on this topic what-so-ever, I did study international relations in university and I'll leave you all with this truth nugget:

Leaders' international policy is determined by whatever seems is most likely to lead to a nation's increase in power, relative to other nations, especially its enemies.

Accordingly, the US won't stop propping up Israel, because Israel provides a counter-balance to middle east states that definitely don't fall into the "friends of America" category. And as such, Israel need not fear a pull out of US support. Therefore, Israel will feel free to make otherwise risky speeches encouraging policy that will give Israel increased power relative to other nations, especially its neighbors.

Nukes are an insurance against invasion. They are made for deterrence, not really to be used. They could only be used if the country is facing threat of extinction. That´s why Isreal has them and that´s why Iran wants them. Let´s not forget that Iran is quite paranoid. They have pretty much been surrounded by Sunni enemies until Sadam was removed. But the Saudi Leadership hates Iran and will do anything it can, to destabilize the country.

The hypocrisy of the Israelis who themselves have nukes is amazing. But I guess the Iranians are the "bad guys". Guess which country is the most destabilizing force in the ME? Hint: It´s not Iran.
