At the end I thought I could hear "you are a winner, you fight good too"

She got a pussy pass/trophy for getting knocked out?

RE: Woman vs man muay thai fight
I don't know much about Muay Tahi. But that looked like a shitty match with her grappling to much and the red white knighting to much any time the little dude got some gold hits in by parting them back to the corners. The other thing was little man was much smaller then the girl and she still was no match. She tries to use aglility but has nothing to counter with but weak hits. Wouldn't a wise strategy for a woman be to try and outlast your male counterpart and attempt to tire him out and making him weaker? It seems like she was burning through more energy trying to jump around like a hyper dog.

Match was over when dude was getting zen in the center of the ring versus her jumping around trying to look tough. When dude was bent, almost praying, I knew somebody was getting bodied in that video.

I am starting to think women just like to play dress up with male roles. Tell me how can a bigger woman who is a professional in her craft perform so poorly. Did she ever take her training serious? You would think so but why such a stark level of difference once the bell rings?

Even dolled up she looks like a man wearing a wig. It goes to show that some women are born with a lot of testosterone and it effects their facial structure, aggressiveness and desire to go into combat sports. Bet she has a monster clit too.

I can't wait for Ronda Rousey to think she can beat fighters in her weight class and she gets her ass beat.

Joe Rogan says she can beat 50% of guys at 135. Some fighters think thats a joke.

I doubt he seriously believes that.

I think he says it for at least two reasons.

1)It's to get people talking about and interested in Ronda Rousey. Which in turn get's the UFC attention.

2)It gets his name out there, which translates into more people listening to his podcast. This leads to more money in his pocket through all the shit he peddles through his podcast.

One rep point goes to the next forum member to ask female cop what it's like being a "lady policeman."

"I can count on one hand, literally, the number of women I have ever met that can take that kind of advice, accept it and make use of it without their epic egos setting metaphorical fire to the conversation.

Most women "looking for advice" are in reality looking for someone to validate their cosmic victimhood, because it's not really their fault, because it's never their fault. This behavioural trait isn't absent among men, but when we fail society cares not, while when women fail there is no shortage of comforting platitudes on offer from every vector.

I doubt Rounda Rousey can beat the average 185lbs male who gets a 3 month bootcamp in MMA and weight lifting.

She's listed at 58 kg, and he's listed at 59 kg. I'm surprised the match went as long as it did.

Willing to bet EVERYBODY thinks it's a joke, they just won't say it.

Rousey wouldn't beat 50% of the guys at 135 fighting for Crazy Bob's Xtreme Cagefighting in Bumfuck, Arkansas.

If I was the guy in this fight, I'd be embarrassed that I even got knocked down by her.

I'm no martial arts expert, but it seems to me that in Muay Thai it's a lot easier to fall down via leg sweeps or tripping, as compared to western boxing, where being knocked down is usually the result of a strong blow implying more serious damage. Is ending up on the ground as big a deal in Muay Thai? Both fighters seemed to get back on their feet quickly after being tripped or leg-swept to the floor, her several times, without much apparent lasting effect until the final knock-out punch.

She just doesn't have the strength behind her punches like he does. Hey, if chicks want to get in the ring with guys, have at it! Always good for lulz.

RE: Woman vs man muay thai fight
That's Lucia Rijker, The Dutch destroyer aka Lady Tyson about 22 years ago.

She won 4 world titles in (womens) kickboxing and 2 world titles in regular (womens) boxing. This must be some exhibition match because her official undefeated record is 54-0-0.

She played the opponent of Hilary Swank in Clint Eastwoods Million dollar baby.

And I'm pretty sure no one here in the same weight class or even above (except perhaps heavyweights) could have defeated her.

Her at 46 after a lifetime of kickboxing. She's a TV host now.

"Uncoiling her body with a textbook kinetic change.." which in english means she was stepping, and the men were standing.

That's like comparing a no step box jump to a running jump.

It's also says that as long she gets a running start, she has some force, but if she tries to stand toe to toe with a dude, she's going to get knocked out. Like in this thread's initial video.

RE: Woman vs man muay thai fight
Let me break this down further.

A well trained woman, or older man, has the possibility of taking down a fighting age male, if that male has no training, or is complacent. This is because when you've trained to fight, you can spot holes in the other person's style.

However, they're not going to win against a well trained or prepared opponent.

She hits harder in that video because she uses a complicated movement where technique raises to the fore, and the man just uses a simple standing punch. And even if the male fighter did a stepping punch, she'd still come closer if they were both doing stepping punches versus standing punches.

This is because complicated movements discount muscle more than simple ones. This is why baseball players are more muscular than golfers. Both activities revolve around swinging, but one involves much more complicated movements and interactions from the entire body than the other.

And this is why men will nearly always win a fight with a women even remotely close to them in size. Because the only time a woman can use technique for an advantage in power is at the very beginning of a fight. After that, it becomes primarily about muscular strength. And the main differences in a man and woman's muscles are in the arms, shoulders, back and chest, which coincidentally, are the primary muscles used in close quarter follow up punches.

It's what men are designed to do.

RE: Woman vs man muay thai fight
^^ I don't see where she is stepping. Her left foot was forward during the punch and afterwards. In fact I'd said that her punch in theory was harder because she did a straight punch while the man did a underhand hook and thus using the power of his pecs too. It's very obvious to see when you pause at 6:27.

Edit.
Ok. When talking about the punch with the dummy, she rotates more than the man. They should have a position rule then. Now the man and the woman could choose which technique to use to use as much power as possible.

Nonetheless. I wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of either one of them.
