BA is great if you can fall into some local social circles. That's the only way my friend and I ended up having some decent success. If you plan on going out and doing the cold approach marathons that you do in Western countries, prepare for a very rude awakening. BA girls are not receptive to cold approach at all. Money didn't really help either. A few other American guys and us pitched in for VIP tables and bottles a few nights and all it did was attract trashy hookers and girls looking for cocaine.

Strangely though, outside of BA, I had some good success cold approaching in clubs. Mendoza was very easy to hook up in for me. Unfortunately the town itself is very boring unless you're into climbing mountains.

If you're trying to get laid, yeah... but if you just want to go out and party with friends, it's hard to beat the bang for your buck you get in BA. Can go crazy for 6-8 hours and not spend more than $50 in one night. In a place like London, you'll go through that much in an hour.

But yeah, if you just want a bunch of quick and easy lays then BA is a bad place to go.

Even just for partying I don't rate it that much. Whilst much more expensive I prefer Sao Paulo for example, great place to party and you'll have a good chance of getting laid.

It's not true that you have to be fluent in French to live in Montreal. It is the most 'anglo' of cities in Quebec. A number of friends lived there without knowing a word of it. Of course it would help for those occasions you meet a hard core francophone that does not speak English (certainly a small minority of girls in the city)

No not self employed-different areas. Those friends that spent more than a year there would take the trouble of learning the language.

But for a short trip, knowing English alone would be fine. Pure francophone speakers in the city is the minority. Towns outside Mtl are a different story.

I imagine the only factors that are of importance to guys on this forum are the quality/affordability of accomodations, the quality of nightspots like bars/clubs, the location of the places where females congregate during the day, the ease with which one can move about the city, the overall quality of the women, and their ability to be gamed/fucked with the least amount of effort.

Mainstream men's magazines will rate cities based on the availability of traditional guy-like activities (hiking, canoeing and other adventure-type activities) and venues, with some of the typical cultural landmarks tossed in. They will write about how women in a city look maybe. They won't go into how easy or hard it is to interact with the women though. Take Amsterdam for example. Everyone writes about the legal prostitution and legal marijuana, but they don't write that the government is trying to eliminate the red-light district. If a dude is looking to do that, he may end up disappointed in the next few years. I these writers don't get their info from the field personally...they just regurgitate the same info that's been floating around forever. Media outlets with actual REPORTERS on the ground write about what's going on day to day and month to month around the world.

miami is just horrible. i'm in medellin now and don't ever wanna go to back to miami. although i don't agree with mixx about it being cuz of the betta latinos. its more of the hip hop culture being so big in miami. on the contrary if you have betta men its makes it easier for us players. the thing is in miami everybody is a wanna be player. so girls already know the game. its like saying hot american black girls are easy to pull cause there men are not betta in reality the hot american black chicks are the worst of all.
