-Reduce corporate taxes in Ontario to the lowest levels in all of North America

His campaign promise to create one million jobs in 8 years was based on highly dubious economic models. Especially, when you consider Ontario only has a population of 13 million.

Given that the official unemployment rate in Ontario is 6.9%

0.069 * 13.7 < 1 million. One has to wonder exactly how was he going to create one million new jobs when there aren't even one million unemployed people in the province.

Ezra Levant is an annoying dickhead but he really does a great job at trolling the left wing in Canada and exposing hypocrisy throughout the country, he is a staunch defender of free speech and especially when it comes to the environmentalist movement, he does a very good job at defending the oil sands so props to him for that. I really couldn't believe that Ontario elected McGuinty twice, the guy who put their economy in the shitter (it became a "have not" province for the first time under his rule), then they went on to elect the dyke, Hedonist is right, the oppostion fucked up pretty bad, but Ontario must have really bad memories of the Harris years to keep elected these shitheads. I can't believe that Liberal Toronto elected Rob Ford but then they and the rest of the province elected Wynne.

Anyway, I love seeing all of those immigrants come out to protest this sex-ed garbage, I hope that they become more vocal about it. Left wingers really are dumb sometimes, they love the idea of bringing in lots of third world immigrants but these people tend to be more conservative than red neck Albertans, it totally conflicts with their goals. Of course the right likes them too for business reasons and the Harper government has done a good job at courting them away from the Liberals. I hope that these cultural issues are more prominent in the upcoming federal election because it will make Justin Trudeau squirm as he will have to try and get the immigrants back to the Libs, but by doing so he will likely alienate his left wing base. I don't have a problem with bringing in conservative immigrants from certain third world countries (except the real backwards dirka dirka ones) as I find that we share common values, anything to dilute the power of the whack job left wing idiots who've been ruining our great country for the past thirty years or so.

Oh they fucked up really bad. People didn't vote for Wynne. They voted against Hudak.

The only thing a conservative government needs to do is to win an election is to pretend to care about what's left of the middle class. He couldn't even do that.

I've learned that parents have been protesting by removing their kids from classes. I read that this has been increasing at rates of 144% and over 100k students have been removed from classes in protest by parents. I believe 23k students in one day. These are no small numbers and yet the Government does not want to acknowledge or address the protest from parents.

It's because the lesbian premier has made it personal and refuses to even have a serious discussion about teaching young kids about "gender fluidity" let alone homosexuality. Her personal agenda couldn't be more obvious here.

I remember some opposition MPP challenged the government's sex-ed agenda during a Q&A session and she tried to play the "they are being homophobic against me" card but luckily it didn't catch that much attention in the media.

I really can't believe this is happening it's so insane.

It's incredible that religious & private schools will have to conform to these new "standards" too.

I don't think this is stoppable anymore is it? Sure people can pull their kids out but they will eventually be charged of some crime right? (child abuse bc their kids don't know there are 6 genders and they might be ghey by 8th grade!).

I mean this is right out of Brave New World...except it's here right now!

Mark my words - Kathleen Wynne will introduce Yes means Yes to every area of Ontario before the end of her five years in office. You heard it here first.

What's even more pernicious is that though the topics on sex, consent, etc. fall under sexuality and thus allow parents to withdraw their children from those courses, the parts on gender identity and homosexuality fall under 'equity' learning, and as such are mandatory for all Ontario schoolchildren starting this September. No parent has the right to withdraw their children from such training, and no teacher has the right to let a student withdraw.

In a few months, the government of Ontario will start telling school-kids that if their parents don't believe that there exist six genders and that homosexuality is anything other than the purest of lifestyles, then their parents are dinosaurs and (probably) should be reported to the school for 'child abuse.'

I would like to see some teachers with balls in Ontario refuse to teach this and also walk out.

However, if you have ever met an Ontario public school teacher you'll know that they are so pro union, pro green, pro 'whatever the gov't says is great except if it affects my paycheck' that I don't forsee it.

You are a bit late . I already said this a while ago when the Jian Ghomeshi controversy started, can't remember which thread it was exactly. Since then a lot of media outlets have done reporting on the "problem" of sexual assaults on campus. We are definitely headed there.

Not recently. Recently the union and teachers have turned against the Wynne and her government. A lot of school boards are on strike and it's not even about the money. The government is sneakily trying to increase the number to kids in each class up to 40 from the current limit of 25 or 28 I think.

The funny thing is Wynne is doing the exact same things Hudak was going to do but he was outlandish and acted like an idiot saying he would cut 100,000 jobs which scared pro and anti union people. The Wynne government is already doing that with cuts and putting hiring freezes for RNs for example. I think this Wynne Liberal Government will be the straw the broke the camel's back and will finally usher in a Conservative leader next election unless the next leader is a complete idiot like Hudak again.
