RE: The Truth About Clubs in Vegas
Weird thread that puts me in an odd position.

I don't have any trouble with people charging whatever the market will bear for services. No issue with McQueen charging $400 to some random dupe.

But to the extent my repping him in the past may have enabled this, I'll say this: That $400 fee is out of line. No way around it.

I hope he reconsiders his practices when dealing with forum members.

RE: The Truth About Clubs in Vegas
I don't know the history behind Fisto and McQueen. Both seem like cool guys to me as per their net personas and I wouldn't mind seeing them in person one day. They both have a lot of online swagger and I've heard in person from forum guys that that swagger is pretty much identical in real life.

Regarding Christian's scamming with his Vegas ushering services, I don't quite get it. You see, I've heard cats talking about paying 4K for bootcamps. I've even roamed on a UK forum and listened to cats who have never heard of the term manosphere actually talk about flying to Vegas to partake in a 2K bootcamp to help them talk to lizards.

Personally, I feel that such fees are quite high but my background is different and I guess some cities in America are so tough that one has to relearn how to talk to lizards and so forth.

I can relate however cos I lived in Miami with a broke budget and with a majority of the lizards that I accosted, posturing was ESSENTIAL as per my experience and the recount by locals that I rolled with. I've been told to stop smiling when talking to lizards (I usually smile when I'm happy and grimace when I'm pissed off or hungry). Basically, re-design my natural human behaviour.

This being said, you can say that many products and services have 'trumped up' charges. Eating out at certain restaurants can result in high bills. Eating at a more homely joint can be much cheaper and ultimately if you lay the table yourself at home, even cheaper.
However, some people realise that they are paying for a service and paying to have the burden of managing a good time in a familiar city placed on someone else. This can be factored into cost.

For example, there was a book on here that was being sold for $100 dollars on how to speak to lizards. Not a live human being showing you around who you can ask questions but a book with static words in there (and I heard diagrams too) on how to talk to lizards.

I couldn't believe it yet people were buying that book like hot cakes. I'm not knocking the pricing of those services or products by any means. I'm not a hater and I never want to be. Maybe I'm initially surprised at the pricing because I'm not sitting on mills (yet). I express the same surprise at those who hire personal trainers for $150 an hour to go to the gym and trim fat.

I guess I only see immorality if the individuals purchasing the services and products do not receive what they were told or lead to expect prior to purchase which leads to having to spend more to get what they were expecting in the first place.

RE: The Truth About Clubs in Vegas
No horse in this race but a tip for walking you in should be in the 50$ range. Maybe 100 if its some kind of special night/event?

My friends tipped a host for setting up a good table with a good minimum 200$ and he was quite happy and it established a good relation.

If its a great table/deal, 400$ tip would be reasonable for a great table/bottles deal.

They used the jack colton hosts. Now some hosts out there in Vegas might be preying on people who havent done their research and it could be that 400$ is what they charge, no idea.

Hakkasan tickets will probably be $100 on Wanttickets, especially if it's Calvin Harris or Tiesto. XS will have a tier of ticket where you can't go inside, the "outdoor only" ticket.

Which is why we usually go lower tier. That and the cost.

I went with wanttickets two times and had no problems. Also bought presales once from the club itself in the casino earlier in the day once and had no problems.

However, while researching online, i did come accross a few posts that presales in HUGE weekends and nights (like i imagine the fight one would be) are not always respected and you might have a problem even with presales. Moreso if youre a group of guys i guess.

Agree completely, but I'd take it to another level.

There is nothing illegal or (in my opinion) immoral about people using their superior knowledge to make extra money. A tradesman with a somewhat unique skillset will charge above and beyond the minimum cost of selling that service (think locksmiths charging $200 to open a door in 3 seconds when you've locked your keys inside).

However, the very premise of this forum is that we are a group of guys sharing information at no benefit to ourselves to help other guys not get taken for a ride. For a member to build a name for himself largely with the help of this forum and then use that name to sell services that go against everything this forum is about seems disingenuous.

Selling bootcamps is one thing. When you have special pickup skills that others are eager to access, you can charge what you want.

But to make a routine out of nickel and diming people who you assume don't know better (while not illegal or necessarily unethical), just doesn't fit with our community's culture. I can understand why Fisto would have a problem with it.

Kudos to Fisto for sharing that email. It brings specifics to this conversation.

I just hope that the drama this causes doesn't do Roosh any harm, because this is his forum and he didn't create this beef.

RE: The Truth About Clubs in Vegas
*Disclaimer: I have no dog in this fight, the only reason I'm commenting is because the thread seems excessively one-sided so far*

I just read the email, and honestly I don't see what the big deal is here.

A lot of guys are saying McQueen isn't providing any service, but from the email it seems very clear that not only is he doing so, he's providing the exact service the guy is asking for: to get him and his date immediately past the line and into the club, presumably every night they go out (he mentions getting the girl in free Wednesday "and" Thursday, not "or"). McQueen also says there's a good chance some covers will be comped, but no promises. I have no way to know without talking to his customers whether that's actually the case.

I understand all the guys here saying that you can just try to befriend hosts on facebook, or go to a restaurant and try to hustle managers, but that's clearly not the type of guy McQueen is marketing to. He's looking for the people who don't want to worry about any of that shit, who aren't comfortable doing so, or who simply have the money to pay someone else to take care of it for them. Hell, I'd definitely pay someone to arrange for me to immediately skip lines every night I went out. My time is valuable, and I'd rather do that than grease at the door, even if it costs more.

I'd also note that McQueen explicitly says he'll be referring him to a third party - so anyone with half a brain will realize that the price is going to go up - and that he didn't promise the guy a RVF discount or anything.

Now none of this is to say this couldn't still be a ripoff. But ripoffs are relative, it all depends on what the service is worth to you. In general I have no problem with someone charging what the market will bear, as long as they're completely up front about what their client is paying for and aren't lying about it being the lowest prices around, which at least from the email seems to be the case.

It looks like this thread is still a beef thread with a lot of heat so it's best to lock it up. For Vegas club advice you can start a new one.
