Hey all,

I got the sudden itch today to look for means to travel by ship. Rather than looking for cruise lines I ended up looking for less conventional means which lead me to numerous sites with information on traveling by freighters (i.e. container ships). Here are some of the sites I looked at:

Seems pretty pricey but at the same time it seems to be a great way to hit up numerous spots and have an adventure of sorts. Have any of you done this before?

I've always wanted to do this. Keep us updated on what you find.

Have you considered getting work on a ship?

Will keep you guys updated. I actually didnt consider it but who knows, I could prob. get into that.
