The irony is that when men 18-25 year old men want to date "age appropriate" (I say that tongue-in-cheek) women, they tend to get repeatedly rejected.

After one or two decades of that constant rejection, these men suddenly reach a stage where both women their own age AND 18-25 year old women are interested in them.

Both age groups are equally high maintenance.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to assume that after two decades of routine rejection, these men are going to want to have what they had a very hard time getting when is was "age appropriate."

This woman suddenly wants men to want to date someone their own age when it is convenient to her?

If women always dated a man their own age, the 40-50 year old silver haired success stories might be tired of 20 year old women by that point (lol) and she might stand a chance.

As I've said, I feel like this is the second wave of attack. First it was fat glorification, now it's 'age appropriate' (hopefully we can come up with a better, funnier name for it).

Not only have there been so many more articles about this, but I've noticed it seeping into daily conversation.

As I've mentioned, I'm 39-going-on-40, and I've had women try to set me up based solely on that we're around the same age (never mind the women is always some bitter, barren ghoul).

I've always looked kinda young for my age, so even in high school I dated a few grades down. When I was in college my gf was the same age, which is more normal, but after it changed. When I was 25, my gf was 19. When I turned 30, my gf was 23. And so on. Of course to feminists, it makes me 'creepy'. But it takes two to tango. Why not go after younger women for dating older men?

I know it helps them sleep at night to justify it as men being 'creepy', but it's really just regret. They are like the ex-athlete who had their chance and blew it, still demanding that everyone treat them with the same respect and adoration. If they acted with some sort of self awareness and dignity, I'd have some empathy. But they absolutely don't, so the result, as some around here would say, is zero fucks given.

Your sexual market value is exactly as high as the women you can still attract at your age. Most of my buddies are end 30s and they can still attract early 20 year olds without much of a problem.

One conversation at a recent approach went this:

She: "How old are you?"
Me: "Guess." I never tell as of now.
She: "36." Usually I don't correct, but I told her almost the truth:
Me: "I'm 39." I'm 40.
She: "I think you are too young for me." She said it with a smirk.
Me:"How old are you?"
She: "20."
Me: "You see - you are a bit too old for me. But we all have to make sacrifices in life."
She laughed and it was all good after that.

A few days later I was at a party in one of my home towns where I have dated a lot in my younger days. Some 30-something girl said hello and I introduced myself to her. She looked a bit strange at me and later she approached me and I said: "Do we know each other from somewhere?" She looked familiar to me.
She said miffed with a smile: "Yeah - great - you don't remember me at all! We used to date some 14 years ago. We even went to the theater together and all."
I barely remember her face, because frankly she aged so much from her early 20s to a 35 year old overweight woman hitting the wall that I simply could not connect her to the girl I knew back then.

Another anecdote came with a hot 30yo Russian girl. She recently settled and married a Western guy and was already monkey-branching in preparation for a divorce. The funny thing is that I and her friends know now more about the impending divorce than the poor husband. You really have to wonder about female nature. She flirted with me, but I made some jokes about old women and she realized that I was like one the Russian guys she knows, so she let it go. Besides - I am not going to poke into such a delicate marriage hole and precipitate the destruction of a marriage only because a girl despite being penniless still craves to optimize her hypergamy. The funny thing is that she accepted instantly that I am mainly interested in younger girls as guys in Russia have high standards for their mistresses, lovers or even potential second wives.

My experience is exactly the same.

I can't tell you how many times 25-27 year old women have told me how lucky I am as a guy since women don't care how old a guy is.

The caveat should be "so long as he offers something they want". Which goes without saying is certainly fair. That's what these women don't get. It's a mutual agreement.

That's what I think really makes these women boil. Either they had it and lost it, or they never had it. And if you're even a mildly attractive woman, just showing up is good enough to get attention. Even fat girls, who whine that men are shallow (and wonder why a Ryan Gosling won't ask them out), get some attention.

But as I've told in anecdotes before, that attention dries up quickly, and since feminism teaches absolutely no personal responsibility, someone has to be blamed.

I don't know if this has been your experience guys, but I find that gaming younger women to be FAR easier than older ones my age.

A younger woman is a hill with a steady grade. It's no doubt work climbing that hill, but the grade is not as steep as one thinks and more importantly it's predictable.

On the other hand, an older woman is a deceptively easy flat plane. You think it's going to be a piece of cake until you step on the wrong patch; BOOM ... lol

Women always refuse to accept practical advice. A man in the age range she desires told her exactly what to do: lose weight, grow her hair, and dress in feminine colors. If she took his advice and practiced self discipline, she could be far better off in a year. Still won't get roger sterling, but she could at least get someone.

My experience is that generally 18-25 and 34+ are easiest, though around end 30s is my limit unless she is extremely well kept. Have not slept with any woman above 36 and that was when I was 19 and 27 (my boss).

28-32 are some of the toughest bitches to bed making it more difficult than the hottest 19 year old. Heartiste explains well that paradox. With FSU/EE women that phase can come a bit earlier at 26 as they enter the epiphany phase earlier.

All my recent experiences actually confirm that - 19 year old - ka-ching - quickly in the hotel. 28 year old - ka-nothing, make-out great, kissing great. 2nd date and still no bang. It's as if women are raising the price of the car - the closer it is to being scrapped. At least after getting scrapped and hitting the wall the price is falling below the 18yo threshold again.

There must be an old Germanic fairy tale about this that didn't get by the politically correct filter.

Something like the story of the haughty flower that got tired of all the attention she got from bees (bees being one of the most important creatures in nature). She closed her petals and refused to give her nectar and pollen only to find that what attracted the bees to her faded away very quickly. The poor, dry flower was destined to spend the rest of her days watching the bees visit younger flowers who were willing to fulfil their natural roles.
