RE: 3 Americans don't realize how shitty their diet is
I am hardly surprised that the youngest girl ate the most. Also look at the lack of meat on her table as she is likely a "vegetarian" but look at her moan when she has to eat a bag of spinach per day. You cook that spinach and it shrinks to 3 cups that you can divide and spread out. Her table was full of cookies and chips and salads yet she Stoll consumes 5000k to much. Under her clothes she is likely droopy but yet not fat enough to pass over and still gets hordes of dudes giving her attention with no incentive to watch what she eats or improve her looks.
Its almost automatic the correlation between Diet Coke vs regular coke. If a woman drinks regular coke and regular soda she is a sloth and gives no fucks about her looks. Even the laziest woman will swap for diet coke to maintain the illusion she tried to eat less and keep things in check while health crazy girls will use diet coke as thier only way to get sweets. My one friend who used to compete in bikini and then body building would drink 8 cans of diet coke a day as it was
Nothing surprised me at all. Majority of people eat like complete shit. The hate on vegetables isn't needed,
verybody can find one they like.

RE: 3 Americans don't realize how shitty their diet is
They like to eat crap because that's what they have been raised with. It's all processed sugar, salt, and additives to enhance basic flavors. Their child like palate is completely undeveloped so they can't appreciate any other type of food.

Spinach literally takes about 3 minutes to cook too. Just heat up some olive oil and saute a couple cloves of minced garlic. Stir in spinach, season with salt/pepper or soy sauce, then cook until wilted.
A fresh fish filet <15 minutes with a basic sauce.
Steak with greens <20 minutes.
Greek Salad <5 minutes.
These are just lazy fucks.

RE: 3 Americans don't realize how shitty their diet is
No surprises here. Just like most Americans are plugged into mainstream media, plugged into celebrity gossip, plugged into something or another, so too are they plugged into processed food.
I've observed that getting people to pay attention to what they eat, and I mean every last thing, is a preposterous notion to most people. Or how many people claim to eat healthy and to them that means having a freezer full of Lean Cuisine frozen entrees.
It's not that I think the citizens in other countries are better (hence why foreign girls get fat in the U.S.), I think most people are pretty mindless when it comes to their diet, and they willingly accept whatever culinary norms they happen to be surrounded by. That's why Americans have such a screwed up relationship with food; all of the guilt, restraint, having to quit certain foods like a drug, cravings, diets, etc. As a huge generalization, it seems that in most countries you eat until you're sated and just by doing that you can be moderately healthy. Of course there are exceptions like Mexico.
3 people is way too small of a sample group to conclude anything; these just happen to be 3 people that eat way too much junk. You could find plenty of women that eat at high end, farm-to-table restaurants that specialize in farmer's market produce and all that, and they'd be just as unhealthy due to caloric excess. Slubu made a great point about this; you've got all these bitches that think just because they're buying organic grassfed Greek Yogurt that it's somehow impossible for them to get fat, and then they eat it with granola, berries, a few eggs, toast, butter, strawberry jam...etc
Michael Pollan's prescription for a healthy diet is probably the best and most succinct advice (unless you lift):
"Eat food.
Not too much.
Mostly plants."

RE: 3 Americans don't realize how shitty their diet is
Spinach is the easiest vegetable in the world to eat. Cook it with virtually any medium for less than five minutes and with any fat and it will taste delicious. No matter how much you put in the pot, it will be tiny once cooked.
It can even be a problem if you buy it in bulk and don't eat other greens. All greens are toxic if you eat way too much of the same one.
Replacing their sugar with healthy fats (saturated, omega 3s and MUFA) and protein would go a long way in fixing their diets.
I anticipate this episode will have no long term effect on their diet.
A good index of your diet is how much trash it generates. The less processed your food, the less packaging there is. I generate a fraction of the trash of my roommate despite eating a lot more. Meat, fat, produce, potatoes and rice have little packaging compared to processed food.

It's like the environment and going green. People know they are doing something wrong, something in violation of their own principles. But they don't want to change. They just want to buy some trinket to make them feel like they're doing good. "Tell me what to buy so I can be healthy/ be green!" They don't want to hear that they can't just add an organic cherry on top and be done with it. Granola and electric cars are palliatives, not solutions, to the underlying problem.

What people eat drives how much they eat, so if you have women shopping at farmers' markets, buying local and organic produce/fats/meats, cooking it at home yet overeating, it wouldn't be for too long until their hormones re-calibrate and they reach satiety sooner. They still would look better than the women who overeats the same amount of calories but does so due to purchasing processed foods/refined garbage "standard american diet".
The excess fat from well sourced fats and proteins tends to go to hips and ass on a woman whereas the excess calories from a processed diet tends to go around the waist which is the worst place for fat to go; at least for fertile women.
In addition, the very act of shopping at a farmer's market is indicative of a woman actually thinking about the source of her food, placing her ahead of the majority of unthinking bovine Americans.
I shop at farmer's markets and rarely see obese women - of course, there is also a correlation with socio-economic class as farmer's markets tends to skew upper middle class which is a class that is very conscious of its health and weight.

Agree with your points. Not to split hairs; I wasn't referring to women that shop at farmer's markets (there's definitely way more fit, attractive women there). I was referencing a specific genre of restaurant, the "farm-to-table" joints. While I'm all for those places myself, they're filled with your run-of-the-mill "foodies" that, while having better taste in food, are still mournfully endowed with fat upper arms, about 10-15lbs of excess fat, and a flabby, untoned ass.

I don't see prime prospects hitting up farmers markets, honestly. What I do see:
1. Older women alone (single or not): 30+
2. Young MILFs with kids in tow
3. Yuppie couples
When you do see young girls, they are almost never buying produce, just a hot breakfast burrito or something. As I've said before, American women largely neglect healthy habits for looking good until it's too late.
It may be different though outside of West LA, which has beaucoup basic bitches. I could see tatted up eastside LA hipsters actually shopping. A basic bitch would die before buying actual produce, at a farmers market, alone.

RE: 3 Americans don't realize how shitty their diet is
I've always assumed that my diet sucks, but when I mentally lay out my week's table, I see a massive amount of vegetables and very little sugar or junk food.
I just stopped eating dessert (except when it was given to me) many years ago. I eat a small bag of potato chips once or twice a week.
I probably get some sugar I don't need from beer, but I don't drink more than one per day on average and probably less than that.
A typical meal for me is enough meat to give me energy for my day, a starch (potato or pasta) and some vegetable sides (typically some tomatoes, mushrooms and/or bell peppers).
I'm confident that one of those bitchy nutritionist types could tear apart my diet, but compared to what I'm seeing on the tables in the video, I actually feel pretty good about myself.
On a side note, have you noticed how all nutritionists are women? Also, WB nutritionist.

Its buzzfeed retards dieting. Being better than them is just considered getting started.
Its like feeling good about being a master PUA because despite creeping out random girls you still manage to get one number.
Or like being happy about how well your workouts are going when you have just finished learning the directions to get to the gym.

^^this
anyone here really all that surprised that a group of people who spew the most mind-numbingly time-wasting crap choose to put crap in their bodies?
i'd like to know if the results of this video encourage any of the participants to change their habits, but...
i'm not holding my breath. i mean, there are just so many birthday parties to go to, right?
