Haha be careful man, what kind of Christian are you? My godfather of sorts used to work for the Catholic Church and would never turn down an opportunity to tell people how rampant homosexuality is in Catholic seminary's. He didn't give a fuck about airing all their dirty laundry because he's a very religious Protestant (Dutch Reformed), I don't know why he worked there but the stories sure were entertaining.

Adultry is a sin...

It's something that I (and probably my fellow RVF Christians) struggle with immensely. However, we're in good company. St. Augustine was also a womanizer, and he's famous for saying "Lord, make me chaste, but not yet."

The way I look at it, I'm still young and I need to get my horniness out of my system. Then, I'll go unicorn hunting and settle down. I might even go to seminary and become a priest. Who knows.

The churches still teach pre-60s and pre-pill doctrines on heterosexual mores. They have therefore offered few guidelines other than total abstinence during a prelonged adolescence brought about by women not feeling ready to marry until their late 20s. Most Christian men, brought up to be Beta-$, will not marry in their 20s even if they wanted to.

During this prolonged abstinence a Christian has not avoided sexual sin even if he is totally chaste until his wedding night as Jesus taught that adultery can be committed in thought.

I started going to a 'manosphere' Christian course in an attempt to have some connection with the church because I find the feminised Sunday mornings difficult to stomach. A speaker at one of these meetings said that when Christians check into a hotel as part of a convention, the porn orders go through the roof.

Sexual sin cannot be avoided but isn't it interesting that the rules against homosexual vice are being liberalised while those on heterosexual relations remain regulated?

Why not let the religion be what it is, rather than alter it so as to not fall afoul of its teachings? I am not a Christian but I would find it difficult to retain some faith in a religion's mystic truth while using my own behaviour as a lodestar for its interpretation.

Except most of the Bible has nothing on "fornication." Those are bad translations. Read the original Bible: the word is "pornia" which is falsely translated into fornication, and I believe that's a (mostly) Catholic lie. Pornia is greek for prostitute.

The Bible condemns prostitution, and cheating on your spouse. But consensual sex between two unmarrieds?

All it says is that women who give away their sex without getting married are idiots. That they are dumber than whores, because at least whores get money.

But for men? Nothing.

The fact is, unmarried sex was unheard of back in Jesus's day. He simply didn't need to talk about it. You either got married to have sex, or you paid for it.

Simply lusting after a woman because you're a single-man really isn't that sinful. Ideally, the pure Christian can abstain from women altogether but banging a single-woman is pretty much a non-issue in the Bible. It was expected that women would insist on marriage before giving up the goods so there wasn't any need to preach about it.

I've read some other Early Christian monks and writers, and they say that sex with a woman outside of marriage is considered the most minor of sins in front of God (for a man) because "lust is deeply rooted in man." God created men to lust, the problem is when greed becomes involved (i.e. prostitution) or betrayal (adultery). But lust by itself? It's how love starts so obviously it cannot be that bad in itself.

Again, it's a different story for women. Women who have sex outside of marriage are considered less than whores by the Old Testament's standards. In the New Testament there isn't anything said, so we must assume Jesus did not correct the Old Testament because there wasn't anything to update.

A lot of today's moralizing about Christianity being anti-sex is just a bunch of faggot Roman Catholic bullshit that has nothing to do with the Bible. In a proper Christian society, the men are super manly, and chase after women hardcore and do anything they can to bang them. Meanwhile, the women play extremely defensively and only have sex once they acquire promises of commitment (i.e. marriage). If the women have sex without marriage, then it is considered a failure of the woman and the woman's parents. The man isn't considered to be anything bad because he's just acting according to his natural role as the initiator and pursuer as God created him.

This is the kind of thing that could have helped me a lot as a young man. Instead I got, "you should save yourself for marriage and Jesus will be there with you when you make love to your wife," or something like that.

If only you knew how bad things really are.

Yeah, I'd never go into the Catholic Church unless they renounced their errors of Maryolotry and the Papacy. I would be probably go into Classical Anglicanism or Western Rite Orthodoxy. Right now I attend an Anglican church which is conservative and pretty much identical theologically to the Eastern Orthodox, except for filioque and a few other things.

I think a lot of the reason why I am still a Christian is not only that is one of the soundest philosophical systems out there, but the priest at my Church is very good. Let's put it this way: have you ever had a priest start choking up during the Eucharist because he was so moved? He explains all the things we do such as crossing ourselves and other ritualistic things so that we don't fall into blind superstition. He rules his house like a true Alpha male, and his wife is in full submission to him.

Not to mention, the Bishop of my diocese is basically taking an extra 4 hour car trip just to make sure I get confirmed, since I couldn't make the official service.

RE: "Christian" pastor Rob Bell tells Oprah the church will soon go gay
The church has succeeded in raising good men, who when they reached their twenties, found themselves in a world where Christian women did not appreciate good men, because they failed all the alpha conditions that these (so-called) Christian women expected, because unlike their male peers, being a member of a Christian community had not stopped them from getting spoiled with attention.

Then there are the socially incompetent churchy females, who haven't whored out, but have no ability to talk to men and freak out any time one tries to get to know them, even with the best of intentions.

I'd honestly be open to a serious relationship with a woman with the right values, but I've never met one who wasn't uncomfortably fat.

The ones who aren't fat are boring, or worse yet, idiots.

I don't think having to earn an above average to be hypergamously granted a sex licence is the spirit behind marriage either.

It wasn't God's perfect will for the patriarchs from Abraham down to Solomon to have multiple wives and concubines but that's the world we live in for now.

Here's the problem with mainstream churchanity, aside from the obvious doctrinal problems: it's feminine, caters to and is dominated by women. At best it is useless and at worst is harmful. It's borderline gay itself.

You want to know why things are fucked up? Because women dominate both education and the church and the family structure is broken thanks to shitty laws catering to them.

We're all living in the wreckage of a once great society and most people don't even know it.

I actually spent a ridiculously long period of time not getting my dick wet. I made the decision to go ahead and lose my virginity, only after I came to the conclusion that there were situations where I could actually have healthier relationships with women by being open to sex.

When both parties are attracted to each other, but haven't had sex, the communication you have tends to be dishonest by default.

I preferred to have an honest existence, while not avoiding women altogether.

The whole point of this thread is that a lot of christians want a gay church but the problem with that is that it isnt biblical. Neither is the lifestyle of a player. How do you reconcile that?

I think Reverend Brown put it best during his address to the Miss Black Awareness pageant.

Quote:I didn't come here
to preach to you today.
But when I look at these contestants
for The Miss Black Awareness pageant,
I feel good, 'cause I know
there's a God somewhere.
There's a God somewhere.
Turn around, ladies.
You know there's a God
who sits up high, and looks down low.
Man cannot make it like this.
Larry Flint, Hugh Hefner...
They can take the picture,
but they can't make it.
Only God above can make it for ya.

Did God make these titties just to tempt us?

Is this bum the work of the devil?

No way, Jose.

The problem with "gay Christianity" isn't (just) that it's unbiblical - as if it were just a legalistic question of interpreting scripture.

The problem is that it's intrinsically wrong.

I have nothing against gays. If grown men want to bum each other, I hope they're happy. If they're not hurting anybody they should be left to do their thing without discrimination or harassment.

That's tolerance.

But let's not mistake tolerance for approval.

Homosexuality is a kind of disorder. We're a species of sexually dimorphic mammals. Something - maybe genes, maybe bacteria, maybe environmental causes - causes a small number of people to develop an aberrant sexual attraction to the same sex.

That's not really a big deal. Society can comfortably tolerate a few poofters. It's fine. We're long past the days when gays were put in jail for sodomy (in Western countries anyway), and it's good that we're not needlessly horrible to them. There's enough misery in the world without adding to it.

But we shouldn't celebrate homosexuality. Because it's not normal. It's not healthy. It isn't something that any religion that expects to have a future should want to portray as being equivalent to normal heterosexual impulses.

Now, as to the lifestyle of a player. Is that unbiblical? Could be. I'm not a Bible scholar. Though I tend to think God would understand that we are but men, full of the impulses He made us with. Very few of us are born to be saints.

[Image: smokin_hot_redheads_4_e1320892145781.jpg]
C'mon God... no fair!

But here's the crucial distinction: I haven't heard of any players demanding that churches bless their rawdogging player ways.

Nobody's asking that "Day Bang" be included in sermons.

Nobody's suggesting that Christian churches change their teachings to celebrate men with huge notch counts.

It's just the gays who want special treatment here, because for a lot of them tolerance isn't enough - they want to force people to approve of them too.
