Hi,

I have some dates where I click with the girl and we have lots of fun and laughter.

On other dates we just seem to chat but not really laugh much.

I've spent some time thinking but I haven't been able to work out what I do differently on the fun dates versus the non-fun dates. Needless to say the fun dates are more successful.

Can anyone with more experience shed some light on what I may be doing differently?
And what are some methods of turning a boring date into date fun?

It could be nothing that you did or said differently from one date to another. People are all different and sometimes you "click" with someone and sometimes not. Shared sense of humour, interests and viewpoints can help here with how well the interaction goes with the girl. Of course having good game can also help enormously but from my experience I just seemed to "hit it off " better with some girls than others.

If you're not feeling the love then "next"!

Effective predate screening can help here to ensure you game the better prospects.

Take out better girls, either more attractive, better vibe, or both.

If the girl is boring or not attractive enough to you you're not going to have a good time.

If she's a girl you like and you vibe with, even if your dates are simple at best both of you are more likely to have fun.

Interesting. My best dates have all been when the women who couldn't communicate with me. That's why I go to South America and refuse to learn Spanish.
That's also why i like nightclubs in the US; I just watch their mouth move and shake my head.

- how old are they
- share the same language
- share the same culture
- what kind of dates
- alcohol involved
- what time of day/night
- what's the ratio of talking and non-talking

Based on your description, I'm betting the main reason that some of your dates suck is that you
- aren't observant
- aren't descriptive

Or are you just interviewing these broads and hoping to end up in bed with them later?

Doing any type of engaging activity together helps liven things up, as opposed to just sitting and talking. One poster mentioned bowling which is perfect, or simple stuff like tossing a Frisbee, even just a walk because you see stuff as you walk to make conversation about.

One thing I like to do when I have a girl I havn't met prior over to the pad is rip some Call of Duty with her for a bit instead of just putting on a movie because its a chance to tease her about her crappy hand eye coordination and tell her she should run in and be your meat shield. Leads comfort building and her taking your meat soon after.

In general, you should have a general script in mind and a few stories(cooked up or real) to tell. And then see how the girl responds to one of your stories and then proceed in that direction. Make strong, opinionated statements, be daring and confident. Also not to mention, you have to bring in positive energy, cockiness and leadership.

A lot also depends on your own mood and the girls mood as well. Sometimes I'm just having a great day which translates into great cocky/funny game and witty banter. Sometimes the girl is in a shitty mood and doesn't respond well to your game. Sometimes there is not attraction from her side but she's still tagging along. Sometimes it might appear that things are not going well but when you go for the kiss(which in any case you always always should) things suddenly change in your favour.

These things can't be accurately predicted or planned. Not even the best players have a 100% success rate. But one thing you do develop as an experienced player is a sense of intuition about how the girl would respond or whether she's worth pursuing or not, so you can efficiently plan your time and strategy.

Maybe I'm missing the point of this thread but to me dates should only be a simple, efficient and inexpensive means to having sex as quickly as possible. Drinks at a bar where you're sitting side by side and then go to a second bar or back to your place if you think she's ready and escalate to sex. I only do "fun" activity style dates with someone I've already banged and who I enjoy being around. A woman has to earn that kind of date from me.

I read a quote the other day that made me think about this exact topic:

This is a true statement and something I think would really get a girl's hamster going. Theres this old arcade near me thats walking distance from several bars. It has skeeball, air hockey, etc. I've been doing a walk, 20-30 min in the arcade, followed by a drink at a nice venue where we can sit side by side... followed by a 'come back to my place for a drink on the porch', which is a 10min walk away. Its netting solid results.

He's asking how to open up girls that are scared, quiet, disinterested.

Got it WIA. Given the fact that he has mixed results it's likely not the venue or date itself but how he's gaming and relating to the woman in question. And as much as many in the manosphere like to preach the "get any woman you want" mantra there's something to be said about the individual chemistry between two people. Sometimes it's there and others it's not. Game can only maximize what's already there.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the idea of whether you can make chemistry.

But this situation, where a player has invited a chick out and has her in front of him is a situation with a spark of attraction.

A player should come at a situation where a girl agrees to meet him out and public as one where
- she likes what she sees
- now she wants to see if what he says and does is as good as he looks.

Basically assume physical attraction. Assume some unconscious sexual attraction.

So even if she's shy and awkward (as many of these chicks are), it's really his job to
- draw her out
- make her feel comfortable enough to say anything (rapport), and
- he should have the balls to say things to her that she doesn't agree with (confidence).

But since OP went ghost on us, we can't really have a good discussion.

1. Do anything and everything in your power to steer the conversation away from the typical lame first date script (e.g. "so what do you like to do for fun?" "do you have any siblings?" etc.). Just say anything else. Say the silliest, whackiest thing that pops into your head. Say something that loser Internet SJWs would find offensive. Hell, bring up politics and/or religion. Talk to her from the getgo like she's a good friend you've known for years. Just do whatever it takes to be different and get her laughing. The canned first date talk can be used as filler if you're drawing a blank, but that's it. NOTE: Girls will NEVER be the first to deviate from the lame first date script. This is 100% up to you.

2. Point #1 is facilitated if, as other posters have pointed out, your date involves DOING something rather than sitting over a table. Even something as simple as a little hike can stimulate conversation.

3. Have child-like spontaneity and impulsiveness. If you come across a playground, just say "OOH LET'S GO PLAY" and start walking in that direction. Seriously, I've done this and it's worked. If you come across a snowy/icy hill, suggest sliding down together. You get the idea. If she has an "eww, no thanks" type reaction she's probably a stuck up bitch that you wouldn't want anyway.

The point of all this is to break down the natural tension that typically accompanies meeting someone new. No one really has fun in that tense, guarded stage of first meeting someone where you're interviewing each other and constantly worrying about making a bad first impression.

There is a park across the street from my house.

Play darts.
Bring a deck of cards to the bar with you and playing a drinking game with cards.
Play table shuffleboard.
Go to a bar have a few drinks and shots then go to an arcade. Best of both worlds go to an arcade with a bar in it.
Get two longboard skateboards... go skating in a park or down empty streets together.
Smoke a joint on top of the roof of your house. Or on a hill with a view.

Make her feel like a teenager if she isn't one. If she is one she will be banging you in no time.

My first date is always to the shooting range. I have a membership so its cheap. I start her off with a 9mm, then move up to a .45 cal. Then, i break out my 870 super mag and load it with a rifled slug. I let her take the first shot because it will kick her ass. Then, I unload the magazine without difficulty and that makes the water fall. She realizes I have power and am a physical force. Get bangs from the shooting range very easily.
