Reviewed the audio, which was obviously recorded with an iPotato 5c, but after wiring my speaker directly to my eardrum and listening intently (and using a noise filter in Audacity to remove some of the gobblygook) I can hear a chick discussing going to the police with another girl. Enough for me to believe the story.

Gonna have to take that medal back Rawmeo, but hopefully the rep point makes up for it.

I'm not sure if I believe how this story went down but I do believe in backpacker girls saying the stupidest shit in public. So I think it's plausible.
