RE: Suits goes to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou and meets women at a 7-11
Bumping this thread as it's the most recent to mention Hong Kong.

I've been going through some of the older info from this and other threads about HK looking for accomodation tips. It would seem that Central, Soho and lower Kowloon are the best places in terms of logistics so far...anywhere else worth considering? Is there any issue bringing women back to hotels, or is AirBnB a better option? I'll only be in town for the first weekend in May so I'm looking at it solely from the short-term convenience perspective.

Any bar or restaurant recommendations as well? Lan Kwai Fong and Soho seem to be popular with expats and tourists, and hitting up a 7/11 has been mentioned, but anywhere else that's decent? I'm not really into nightclubs so bars are preferable.

There's also Knutsford Terrace in TST but those are the big areas as far as bars go. There's more local ones further up north in Kowloon but not really worth going if you want to pick up.

Tons of bars in Wanchai and Causeway Bay as well. Wanchai may be the rowdiest nightlife spot overall, or at least tied with Lan Kwai Fong, particularly latenight. If I recall correctly, races at the Jockey Club are Wednesdays, as well as ladies night in Wanchai.

Both would be good for accomodation, and walkable/tramamble to/from Central.

The restaurants and bars at Knutsford Terrace are completely non-approach friendly. Very group centric environment.

CodyB and I tried it out one night, since it had walking distance logistics from my hotel, but our best luck was at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the Terrace, where people would congregate to wait for other friends to arrive.

Much more local talent than LKF, but one would bore quickly.

We only ran Wanchai on maid's day and did not do a regular nightlife tour there together.

Cheers for the responses guys. I'd been leaning towards the main island for accomodation just for saving a bit of time around my likely activities, so I'll take a look across Soho, Central and Wan Chai. Just a pity the race nights are Wednesdays or I'd have been tempted.

There’s also races on Sunday at the Sha Tin racecourse (up in the New Territories). Never been, but it’s supposed to be a more local crowd.

I'll need to check that out, could be a good night. It's quite near a football stadium I'll try to go to on the Saturday as well.

I forgot about Wan Chai. I agree it's pretty rowdy. Wednesday is Ladies' Night. Lots of international school kids getting wasted at Carnegie's and the neighbouring bars (them plus some real weirdos). However it is also somewhat cliquish, but when people start getting really wasted at 1 AM it's pretty easy to make "friends". Lots of people head to LKF between 1 and 2 AM. If you're older than 30 though, I'm not sure if I would recommend it. The crowd tends to be very young, very immature, lots of binge drinking and loud spoiled kids. Fun with the right people but would not recommend for picking up.

Cheers for that. I'm 31 and it sounds a bit immature if what you say is right. A bit of atmosphere is good but I'm more likely to try and set something up through day or online game on this trip. I'd prefer to be getting up early anyways to go for a hike and make the most of the weekend, too many weekends here in Vladivostok recently have went by far too quickly!

Guys,

I will be in Hongkong for 2-3 days from 22nd till 25th, if any of you fancy meeting up then let me know. I am booking an apartment in Mongkok with sea view.

Also got couple of dates lined up as well. But will be nice to meet some fellow guys in there.

RE: Suits goes to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou and meets women at a 7-11
I disagree with this. I have been in HK for almost a year and have found LKF to be extremely fertile ground. I make out with 1-3 girls pretty much every single time I go out in LKF (a few times I've been making out within 10 min of approach), and get 1-2 numbers (I could get more but I turn down some 5-6s). I have yet to ONS (which I think is a function more of the cultural values of women and how they were raised), but have closed on every subsequent "date" that did not flake (yes, it's happened where I've met and made out and danced with a girl for 2-3 hours, to the point where she is dragging me from club to bar to club with her friends and straddling me every chance she can get, then she doesn't respond to my texts 2 days later).

That being said, I am Asian, so despite being in my 40s, I can pull off looking like I'm a 30yr old, and being from the US and having a successful career, I dress much better, smell better (yes, u need extra help from cologne/body sprays to offset the sweat from all the humidity) and am better groomed than 90% of the local men. And I'm relatively tall compared to locals (avg for the US). I don't speak Canto. But I am hanging out at bar/clubs in LKF that cater more to locals. I find it's a good mix, mostly young professionals in their early-late 20s, which is my target group. I do see a lot of university students, but I also find them very easy to game. I operate entirely solo, which if you knew my background, you'd find very surprising b/c I was a total wallflower at clubs for most of my life. Overall, HK women are extremely approachable, to the point that literally, my approach line has become one word. "Hi". Works 7/10 times.

If you are Caucasian, I do think LKF can be tougher, but there are specific bars / areas that are better for you. Volar has tons of tall Caucasian model-type women. SoHo, which is basically next to LKF, and some places (bars, not clubs) further west on Hollywood Road, are much more geared towards Asian women looking to meet expat white guys. I think those areas are also extremely good b/c the Caucasian women there tend to be more desperate (b/c Caucasian guys are mostly going after locals or Asians). Funnily, I ended up one time in a bar in LKF where Australians hang out, and it was like the thread on Australia described - tons of tall, jacked dudes - and the women there were clearly looking to meet those guys, not me.

Wan Chai, I have heard can be decent at really late hours, like after 4 am when some people start leaving LKF (although on weekends, LKF doesn't really quiet down until around 6-7am). But I tend to stay away b/c the crowds are basically 90% 50yr old white dudes looking to pick up Filipino/Indo quasi-hookers.

LKF is great and I did nor say otherwise in my post so I am not sure what you are disagreeing with? Otherwise solid post.

Oh, thought you were talking about LKF when you wrote this b/c I think LKF is great for PUA, but apologies if you were still referring to Wan Chai.

Oh right, yeah sorry I can see how that could be misunderstood. I was still talking about Wan Chai there. LKF is great for any age.

The cheapest are the guesthouses, including the famous Chungking Mansion in TST. Real locals probably won't go back with a foreign man to the cheaper guesthouses, hotels are highly preferred by the spoilted locals.

Mongkok has hotels and guesthouses as well, it is a street shopping and entertainment area popular with local young people, similar to Laojie in Shenzhen or other similar areas in Asian cities. Those who frequent the area are known as MK people, and are characterised by so-called MK fashion, low level of english and education and rude language and behaviors. It has a reputation of bad teens but lots of "good" girls goto Mongkok for shopping as well.

There are talents all over HK, most are not tall and are small in size. Unlike Singapore, only a small portion of the population are westernised.

The Chinese travel restrictions are hurting the hotel industry in HK and prices are at all-time lows. I was seeing 50$ for 4-star hotels decently located and 75$ for ones in the middle of the action, on a weeknight.

While this may be true, the absolute real reason why a local will not go home with you in Hong Kong is because almost all of them will live with their parents until their 30s. I'm talking 90% here! Afternoon lays are possible I guess but you have no idea how much slut shaming goes on in Chinese culture.

Interestingly I find HK to be remarkably easy, even easier than Taiwan. I have had a couple of interesting experiences such as this one. I have also banged a girl in the Cathay Pacific first class lounge cabana at HKG that I found off We Chat during a layover.

Just say something like 我需要演習廣東話. Obviously the majority of the women aren't going to come fuck you in an airport lounge, but that kind of shit would never happen to me in the Mainland.

My sample size of one is limited in this case, but what you say holds at least some truth. I went out with a native girl on the Sunday, I'm trying to move her back to my place (I booked an apartment), and she tells me she can't as she lives with her parents and they're expecting her home by a certain time. Good girls can't go home late apparently.

Parents who let their daughter party in LKF every weekend will also have little issue with them staying the night with a "girlfriend" or going home in the morning.

Some girls will also say this to politely reject you. Not an issue at all mostly though if you just meet girls in LKF.

There are some local cantonese people, girls and boys, who goto LKF clubs, but not the one in the main streets frequented by foreigners, and they are "very local", and mostly not interested in talking to a foreign guy when approached. A few do want to talk, but admit their English is not good in their first few sentences. Same with most other non-HK East Asians there unless they are western-educated, like goto College in HK or western countries. The MK youths mentioned can be trendy, but they are usually underachieved and not good in English.

RE: Suits goes to Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangzhou and meets women at a 7-11
I'm back.

I'm on a visa run from the mainland and as luck would have it, Fortis was headed to HK for a visa as well today.

Fortis and I met in Shenzhen this morning and crossed into HK together. We did so very amateurishly. After that, we took the subway to the area that I thought I remembered the visa agency I used last back in 2012 being. After leading Fortis in circles like an idiot for about 30 minutes, we stopped for at a Starbucks for breakfast and looked of the agency online. Turned out that the building (which I apparently was no longer capable of recognizing) was about 200 meters away and we'd already walked past in twice.

I'm only here for a couple days, so I started pipelining before I left. I've got dates now for tonight and tomorrow night, but I'll trying to find a few more options to double stack in case of flakes or lack of success early in the night.

Will you keep you horndogs updated.

Nice to finally meet the king in the north. Suits is a troll in real life. He lives under a bridge and talks major trash.

I will be checking my PMs weekly, so you can catch me there. I will not be posting.
