One of the better movies of 2014, and one of the more masculine characters too.

The plot can get complex, but the story it tells is simple. A man of ambition holds it all together against a corrupt world that wants nothing more than to get a piece of him.





^^Solid sales technique about using silence.

Oscar Isaac gives smoldering performance that never erupts into a Pacino-esque explosion. This isn't Scarface, so it's not necessary.
