OP - The above is great advice.

Most single moms don't want you to meet their kids right away. You just need to eject yourself from the situation before you get in too deep (chillin' with the kids, playing daddy and all that nonsense). Single moms can be silly fun and, due a diminished sexual market value, will cut out a lot of the bullshit.

As for the stuff about her being "irresponsible..."

Enjoy the fun side of that irresponsibility. Wrap up, don't spend too much time with her and know when to get out of the situation before it becomes wack.

I met one a few weeks ago. But I'm hesitant to game her because of the kid. I don't know, she's about my age and with a kid? It made me back up a little.

I see some of them pushing strollers near the projects but give off that hoodrat vibe. I'm in Boston and its not a race thing here, obesity, trashy ass clothing and a foul mouth rip across the color spectrum.

One important thing: Unless you are going to marry her, which I think is a bad idea anyway, do not spend time with the kid. No babysitting, don't take the kid to the park with her, no taking the kid on dates, etc. With family law the way it is, she can hit you up for child support if she doesn't currently get any from another guy. The argument is that you acted as a father, had the same privileges as a father, and now must bear the same responsibilities as a father. If she can make the case in court (which isn't that hard) you will have to pay up.

I agree with most guys here that you should just keep it casual, avoid any mention of the child, and keep it light and fun.

All in all, i'm with Moma on this one.

Just keep in mind: some single moms are that way cause they wanted have a family like their own growing up and it didn't work out, young and old (some were young and made a bad judgement). But they are still fun and good people to be around, well adjusted etc. Others are that way because they are bat shit crazy (BSC). Just diagnose it early...its usually not hard to figure out.

All in all, at the end of the day they just want some dick and too many guys stay away because of it, which makes your job easier. You can have a lot of fun with them because they appreciate your company and will not give you a ton of shit, unless they are BSC, and you dont want to be around a psycho anyways.
