Style tip

Right now - shearling coats are in, over coats are in. So a shearling overcoat is a no brainer.

Usually the shearling (the lamb's wool) is off-white, super white, or tan.

Here it's black.

But pairing it with the black shirt and pants creates some what of an optical illusion.

That's style on the next level.

I just picked up a fake Shearling at a very inexpensive price.

I know that girl with the big butt, she doesn't actually do 7k squats a day and she's not very good looking in real life.

After shoveling a walkway full of snow, 2 thoughts

1) I'm seriously not in the shape I thought I was

2) If you're thinking about getting into an LTR, ask yourself this - what good is my woman in this situation?

- blizzard
- hurricane
- tornado
- economic crisis

Et cetera. (I've been through 3 of those)

If all she does is look pretty, she's not good for an LTR.

I wanted a hot meal and a backrub. Bring a cup of mint tea out.

1) Some chicks just continue to be on their phones when you're doing real shit
2) Some chicks are like "How can I help"
3) The good LTR match knows what the fuck is up, and does shit that's necessary without having to be told.

WIA, I totally agree with you on this. I find that this art is lost especially in entitled Western countries. I hate to keep harping on this but I've experienced this the most in African lizards that I have encountered. My ex Asian lizard always used to have that on point and was so in tune with my temperament, she used to cook and dive out of the way when I was hungry (I am very cranky and short tempered when I'm hungry).

Black lizards may do the same thing (still cook and care for me) but would challenge me if I was short tempered instead of submitting i.e. just being quiet and let me roar (in my experience). I'm actually not a bastard so I don't take the piss with submissive lizards. If she submits, I would do something to reward her for understanding like watch a shytty lizard program with her for an hour or suffer a shopping trip with her.

That's because they don't know how to be women. I've lost count of the number of women I've dealt with who do not know how to:

cook
clean
manage time properly
wear makeup correctly
wear clothes that compliment the female form, or at least wear something that's partially feminine

I can deal with the lack of makeup and clothing style, especially if she's a natural beauty. But the rest are all red flags and I just don't bother other than to bang and go.

1) DR - easy peasy, the kind of women and environment that I think I need.

2) Mexico City - I've had a number of chicas. Fresh off the boat, rich exchange, first generation, and chicks that told me the border crossed us. Aka we been here. To my ears the Spanish is slower and easier to understand.

3) Venezuela - black market exchange rate. A 2 week trip could turn into 6 month trip if I get the benefit of the exchange rate and keep a low profile.

4) Colombia - same women as Venezuela, but "safer" and cheaper.

5) Lebanon - Beirut to be exact, because I've always wanted to go. Paris is called the a Beirut of the West, and I've been to Paris. I don't see that as a true bang mission, unlike the others, but I believe I could simplify my game to the essence... Not sure though.

Thoughts?

Leaving Cambodia and will be heading down to Mexico City for work in about 1 month and will be there for about a year. I've spoofed my tinder location and have been getting decent matches, every girl seems extremely eager to meet up. It seems like I only match with girls who speak English though.

I'm curious to see how I'll do with night game there with my limited Spanish, because this is where I usually do well.

I've been working on my Spanish an hour a day with Rosetta stone, until Im boots on ground and can get proper lessons

Its going to be a great year!

Damn. You got me salivating at the idea of fresh intel from Venezuela from a well traveled, trusted forum member.

I've been wanting to go to Venezuela since forever but Chavez, his nonsense and the murder rate kept me away. I hear the new guy they got is just as bad but if the unreal exchange rate is as good as they say it is I might have to get over there. The Venezuelans I have met over the years have been real cool too, I get a similar vibe with them as I do with Dominicans.

New podcast released - hear Moma and Rudebwoy spitting bars vs Drew Morisey!!

Apollo21 路 2016-01-30 16:08:00 路 #1493
That was a great podcast...

I think the big lesson for 2016 is to stop doing the minimum...in every area of life...
especially when it comes to meeting women and finances.

Start businesses that allow you to travel and come into contact with a lot more people.

Just going to clubs and bars represents the "minimum" when it comes to meeting beautiful women...
and even then, the ROI is typically so so low that you're either taking home 6's and questionable 7's
or you're standing around for a few hours when you could be learning how to grow your business.

For Drew I recommend that he check out Frank Kern and Jay Abraham...they are legends in Online Marketing
and Business Growth....Jay himself is a billionaire who built it all from scratch while Frank is amazing at copy writing and
has even worked with Tony Robbins to sell his infoproducts online.

You'll learn a ton from both men.

^^You guys fixed the volume disparity between yourself and Moma, I think that was the biggest issue. The podcasts themselves have good quality content.

I would like to hear a little more on finance, education, and how you guys are working to stay afloat in the ever changing jobs market, one day a job is here, the next its gone with a new app. In terms of what you guys think of higher education, trades, working in different cities or areas, etc? That would be a good topic on this thread - unless it's not the direction you're interested in moving in.

Financial wellbeing is a fundamental pillar of strong game.

In due in time. Currently I have to navigate a deep recession in my industry...and live to tell the tale. This will be a great experience that once I get through, would be glad to share - at least a good part of the story.

Just read this article:

http://tressiemc.com/2013/04/05/blanket-...d-reality/

Summary: Graduate school is not for everyone, but it ain't right to dissuade all black people from going to college because that advice is contingent upon having a certain amount of privilege that most black men don't have.

While I agree with that statement, I think the article leans a little too much to the left and basically encourages black people to go anyway. For example, the author supports his claim by highlighting a study conducted by CNN which concluded that black men have the same chances of getting jobs as convicted white felons. You can read about the study at this link: http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2008/08/09/st...-for-hire/

As a science major, I question the rigor of the study: there are a number of controls missing. For example, did the same recruiting managers look at the resumes? Did the black men and white felons apply around the same time? Did they write the same cover letters, request similar informational interviews, etc. It's hard to conduct studies on behavioral activities like hiring, and in my opinion, the design of the study was not rigorous enough to justify the conclusions that the author made.

Again, the study does not prove that black people need graduate degrees to get jobs. One could make the argument that graduate degrees simply put black graduates in a smaller pool of applicants. Blacks with graduate degrees still face the same sort of discriminatory hiring practices that blacks with bachelor's degrees face, but they simply get hired because they are competing with less people -- at the cost of getting into crippling debt.

I bring up this article because I'm in college now, and I don't want to go to graduate school because I really don't think that I need it. Every college has an alumni network, so I have some social capital to leverage. I dress in clothes that fit properly. I've been applying to jobs since last semester, and I have been invited to a number of interviews. I'm not saying that I'll never be unemployed -- I could get injured, or someone in HR might not like me. But as long as I'm working for someone else, I'll never really have job security. I'm convinced that the only way I can find security is by relying on myself. I plan to start a business after I pay off my student loans.

And yet when I talk like this with my peers, my loved ones, and other white collar professionals, they are not typically supportive. Which is fine. I'm okay with people not approving of my decisions. I guess I just posted this here for other young black men that are in college -- you probably have a lot of pressure to "succeed", whatever the fuck that means.

You probably hear a lot of general advice from other people. I know I do. But I've arrived at the point where I scrutinize most things that I hear, and I've gotten to the point where I'm confident in my ability to get shit done. Getting another piece of paper won't get me the fulfillment in life that I'm seeking.

Game on, brothas.

EDIT: To reiterate, the purpose of my post is not to dissuade others from getting graduate degrees. My aim is to expose misinformation that is used to discourage people from pursuing their individual dreams. My other purpose is to affirm my own beliefs about the utility of graduate school. I hope that by declaring my own plans, I can get other black men to think hard about their own goals and dreams and to set their OWN paths to success, rather than doing what everyone else says is right.
Apollo21 路 2016-02-15 12:05:00 路 #1500
It depends on what career you're pursuing. Although I'd agree that your social network
is far more important than a graduate degree. Although to take it a step further...
if you ever go into business (for yourself) and work hard a graduate degree will be practically
meaningless unless you're taking technology developed in the lab into the private sector.
